| In mathematics teaching,mathematical symbolic language is an important carrier for teachers to transfer mathematical knowledge to students,and it is an indispensable tool in the process of communication and communication between teachers and students.Mathematical symbolic language contains a wealth of mathematical ideas and methods,and it is a professional language that embodies the characteristics of mathematics.Therefore,mastering the symbolic language of mathematics is the cornerstone of learning mathematics well.In this paper,questionnaire survey and test volume evaluation are used as the main research methods,supplemented by literature analysis and classroom observation,to investigate and analyze the present situation of high school students’ learning mathematical symbolic language and the present situation of teachers’ teaching of mathematical symbolic language,to test and analyze the four dimensions of students’ mathematical symbolic language learning,to find out the existing problems,and to put forward the corresponding teaching suggestions.The questionnaire survey shows that students do not pay enough attention to the learning of mathematical symbolic language,and their interest in learning is not high;students have not yet formed a good habit of learning mathematical symbolic language,and their understanding of mathematical symbolic language is not in place.The research of test paper shows that students lack the ability of recognition,operation,reasoning and expression of mathematical symbols to varying degrees.Among them,in the recognition dimension: students have a single form of mathematical symbol recognition is better,for a variety of forms,a variety of symbols combined with the form recognition is poor.Operation dimension: for some similar symbols will be confused,some algorithms will be wrong,similar values will not be distinguished;reasoning dimension: logic is not strong,for a variety of cases reasoning is not strict;expression dimension: writing is more casual,the transformation of symbolic language,text language,image language is not proficient enough.In view of the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward the following teaching suggestions: teachers should pay more attention to mathematical symbols in teaching,pay attention to the explanation of the background and history of mathematical symbols,pay attention to the standard writing of mathematical symbols,and attach importance to the mutual transformation of mathematical symbol language,text language and image language. |
