The review class is one of the important types of high school biology classes,and is also an important part of biology teaching.This study proposes to combine the PBL(ProblemBased Learning)teaching mode with the teaching of high school biology review class according to the requirements of the new curriculum reform and the current situation of high school biology review class,in order to construct a teaching mode suitable for the teaching of biology review class and to improve the teaching and learning of the current high school biology review class.The main research content of this project is how to apply the PBL teaching mode to the teaching of high school biology review class.Firstly,the relevant literature was collated to understand the definition,characteristics and the current situation of domestic and international research on PBL teaching mode,and to sort out the theoretical basis of review class teaching and PBL teaching mode.Secondly,through questionnaire survey method and interview method,we understand the current situation of high school biology review class and analyse the feasibility of applying PBL teaching mode in high school biology review class;in response to the findings,we propose the principles and specific aspects of applying PBL teaching mode in high school biology review class.Finally,the teaching practice was carried out,and two parallel classes were selected to conduct review using the PBL teaching mode and the conventional review class teaching method respectively,and the application effect was tested in two aspects,namely learning achievement and student questionnaire survey,after the practice.The findings show that,firstly,it is practical to apply the PBL teaching mode in senior secondary biology review classes.The findings show that the PBL teaching mode not only promotes diversified teaching methods,but also strengthens students' sense of initiative and promotes their learning ability.Secondly,the application of the PBL teaching mode in senior secondary biology review classes should follow four principles:contextuality,subjectivity,cooperation and wholeness.Thirdly,the application of PBL teaching mode in senior secondary biology review class includes three main aspects:preparation before class,classroom implementation,evaluation and reflection.Fourthly,the PBL teaching mode can improve students' learning performance,deepen their understanding of relevant concepts and improve their comprehensive application ability.In addition,the PBL teaching mode can enhance students' problem awareness,problem solving ability and innovation ability.However,there are still many shortcomings in this study,which need to be continuously improved and enriched by the majority of researchers in order to effectively improve students' review effect.
