Reading plays an important role in Chinese instruction in primary schools.Students can open the door of knowledge through reading and gain nutrition from it.Narration,as a common style in Chinese textbooks for primary school students,has become a good companion for students to experience family affection,realize truth and appreciate scenery,but it is influenced by traditional reading instruction,students have many problems in reading,such as passive learning,lack of thinking and single understanding,so it is urgent to change the way of reading instruction.As a visualized tool,mind map has been applied to the instruction of reading by many researchers,which is helpful to change students' thinking mode and promote students' active reading.Based on literature research and case analysis,this paper collects relevant literature of mind map,and combines the theory of mind map and the stylistic features of narration,this paper attempts to make a multidimensional discussion on the application of mind map in the instruction of reading Chinese narration in primary schools,and puts forward some suggestions for its application.This paper carries out research from the following five parts:The first part is the introduction,which explains the research background,literature review,research methods,research problems and research significance of this paper,based on the requirements of the new curriculum reform,the limitation of the traditional reading instruction mode and the present situation of the application of mind map.Through literature review,it is found that there are still some shortcomings in the existing research,such as not pointing out specifically how the mind map should be applied to the specific style of writing,and not combining with the article to elaborate specifically the application of different types of mind maps,so this paper,by analyzing the cases of applying mind map to narrative reading instruction,explains how to use mind map in different types of narrative reading instruction,and expounds the significance of this paper in theory and practice.The second part is the theoretical analysis,which distinguishes mind map,concept map and teaching board,explains the characteristics and generality of eight types of mind map,introduces the hand-drawn method of mind map and the brain science theory,this paper also defines the concept of narrative and reading teaching,and expounds the mutual promotion between narrative reading teaching and mind map: Mind Map helps students learn to read actively,the teaching of narrative reading helps to strengthen the study and training of mind map and promote the development of students' thinking.The third part discusses the multi-dimensional application of mind map in narrative reading instruction in primary school,and explains that mind map is used in stages,and students of different grades have their own characteristics when using mind map.When drawing the mind map,we should first judge the type of style and then analyze the specific type.Different types of mind map have different application in narrative reading instruction,learn to use different types of mind map properly to highlight the theme and focus of the article,this part shows the overall application of mind map in the primary language narrative reading instruction.The fourth part is the case analysis of the application of mind map in the reading instruction of Chinese narration in primary school,showing the application of mind map in classroom teaching concretely and truly.Through to the C elementary school L teacher classroom instruction case carries on the analysis,four rational components are obtained: Analyzing The textbook first,then setting the key points;guiding moderately and gradually;secondary processing,reflecting depth;and evaluating well and participating in many aspects.The fifth part is the application progress evaluation and application suggestion,in which the application progress evaluation evaluates the multidimensional application of mind map and the selected cases as a whole,five suggestions are put forward in the application suggestions:drawing the mind map with different emphases based on the characteristics of different types of articles;using the various types of mind map synthetically according to the characteristics of different types of articles;strengthening the students' thinking training step by step,enhance the learning effect;let students draw independently,so that the scope of drawing from the classroom to the extra-curricular;promote the evaluation of the three aspects of diversification,and promote students to participate in the evaluation.
