Starting from the educational teacher policy issued after China's reform and opening up,this study deeply excavates the policy text related to rural teachers,analyzes the policy in combination with the realistic background and influencing factors,analyzes the changes of rural teachers' social status in different historical periods through literature research and field research,and seeks the logical basis and influencing factors behind the policy evolution,It is conducive to study the development and evolution track of rural teachers' policies and social status,and grasp the characteristics and laws,in order to provide innovative views for the formulation of rural teachers' policies and the promotion of rural teachers' social status in the future.This study uses the social stratification theory as the macro framework to locate the social class of rural teachers in different periods,and uses the capital theory as a specific index to analyze the social status of rural teachers.According to the order of time development,the evolution process of rural teachers' policy in China since the reform and opening up is divided into five periods: the period of policy restoration and adjustment: 1978-1984;The period of educational system reform: 1985-1992;The exploration period of socialist market economy: 1993-2000;The period of educational management system reform: 2001-2011;A new period of narrowing the gap between urban and rural education: from 2012 to now,and summarizes the main contents and key aspects of rural teacher policy development in each period.By combing and interpreting the evolution process of relevant policies,it is found that the evolution law of the effect of policies on the social status of rural teachers is cyclic,that is,the change of rural teachers' social status is basically consistent with the trend of teachers' education policy,and the introduction and adjustment of education,economy,culture and other policies further affect the change of social status.Based on the current understanding and in-depth research of rural teachers' policies since the reform and opening up,this paper analyzes the possible deficiencies in the formulation and implementation of rural teachers' policies at this stage,puts forward policy optimization suggestions to improve the social status of rural teachers,gives full play to the role and function of rural teachers in acquiring and occupying economic capital,social capital and cultural capital,and strives to improve the social status of rural teachers.
