Research On Group Work Intervention In Urban Empty-nest Elderly Pension Anxiety Relie

With the rapid growth of the elderly population in China,the pension situation is becoming more and more serious.With the rapid development of society and the implementation of fertility policy,the traditional family model in China has changed,and a new type of elderly group-"empty nest elderly" has emerged.With the increase of the number of empty nesters,the problem of providing for the aged of empty nesters has gradually emerged.According to the survey,many empty nesters have serious old-age anxiety due to lack of care and long-term loneliness.Many empty nesters become depressed because of their long-term lack of care.Empty nesters as a vulnerable group of the elderly,their anxiety should be paid more attention by the society.When visiting H community,the author found that most empty nesters have pension anxiety.The author explored to alleviate the pension anxiety of empty nesters through the working methods of social work groups.Taking h community of C City as an example,based on empowerment theory,social support theory and Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,the author uses literature research,interview,observation and questionnaire survey as the main research methods to recruit empty nesters in H community to carry out six social work group activities,That is,"know each other,go into the community","open your heart,relax","study happily,experience the Internet","go into nature,stay away from anxiety","help each other,alleviate anxiety","pay attention to health,and enjoy the old",which can effectively alleviate the elderly care anxiety caused by the reduction of family value and social value,the psychological loneliness caused by long-term unaccompanied,and the decline of physical health.Finally,the author summarizes the design of group activities,the use of group professional skills and the sustainability of group work results.In the group work methods,research results,their own ability to reflect.It has put forward suggestions on changing the elderly care thinking of the empty nest elderly,strengthening the sense of responsibility for supporting their children,establishing the psychological files of the empty nest elderly,paying attention to the professionalism of social work,and improving the attention to the empty nest elderly in many aspects.It has provided ideas on better applying social work methods to the elderly care anxiety relief services for the urban empty nest elderly,and further enriched the exploration on the anxiety relief of the empty nest elderly,Provide practical experience for social work on such issues.
