| With the change of society,China ’s family structure gradually tends to be miniaturized,and the proportion of empty nest families is rising.At the same time,China’s population aging process is accelerating,the size of the empty nest elderly population has also expanded.At present,digital information technology is developing rapidly and has penetrated into all aspects of people ’s lives.Urban empty nesters lack the companionship and care of their children,and it is difficult to get help from their children when they encounter problems in the use of digital technology,which makes it difficult to integrate into the current digital social lifestyle.Therefore,we should pay attention to the digital integration of urban empty nesters and take effective measures to help them improve their digital skills,which will help them better participate in society,enjoy the achievements of social development and improve the quality of life in their later years.This study takes the urban empty nest elderly in Y community as the research object,and adopts the questionnaire and interview survey method.It is found that there are great shortcomings in digital skills,which are mainly manifested in the inability to operate digital devices,the single use of digital functions,and the unwillingness to use digital devices.After communicating with the community,the worker decided to recruit the urban empty-nest elderly in Y community to form a digital skills improvement education group based on social learning theory,social support theory and empowerment theory,and carried out seven group activities to improve their digital skills in travel,medical treatment,social interaction and anti-fraud awareness,overcome their fear of digital technology,and enhance their willingness to learn and use digital technology.At the same time,it helps the urban empty-nest elderly in the group to establish a social support network,expand their social interaction,replace and compensate for their lack of emotional needs of children ’s companionship,help them improve their digital integration difficulties,and better adapt to the current society.After the end of the seven-section group,the workers used two methods of group member evaluation and worker evaluation to objectively evaluate the overall group process and group effectiveness.The evaluation results show that the group members have significantly improved their digital skills,willingness to learn digital skills and digital communication skills through seven educational group activities.Through the overall summary and reflection,it is found that the group work intervention mainly has problems such as difficulty in meeting individual needs,weak entertainment of the education group,and difficulty in ensuring the continuity of service effects.Based on this,it is proposed to flexibly adjust the activity time,pay attention to the combination of theory and situational education,and establish follow-up return visit mechanism and other improvement suggestions,in order to provide practical experience for the same type of education group service. |
