A Practical Intervention Study On The Group Workof The Empty-nest Elderly In Ueban Communities

With the deepening of aging in China,the issue of elderly care has become the focus of attention from all sectors of society,especially for the relatively vulnerable empty nest elderly.The society needs to focus on how to solve their elderly care problems.Due to the change in family structure,there are more and more empty nest and solitary elderly people,and family care is gradually weakened.Family children have limited time and energy,often not taking into account their parents’ daily life and psychological needs.The increasing number of empty nest elderly people and the increase in population aging have brought enormous pension pressure to society.Therefore,resolving the pension crisis is an important task at present,and actively addressing aging has become a national strategy at present.Actively respond to aging,allowing older people to rely on community resources and view themselves as an advantageous resource,contributing to the community and society,achieving self worth,eliminating negative stereotypes such as "degradation","recession",and "loss," and redefining the concept of "active aging" from these three dimensions.As for empty nest elderly people,traditional elderly care services can no longer meet the real needs of the elderly.Nowadays,a new type of elderly care model has emerged.The mutual assistance elderly care service model relies on the community,through the strength of the elderly in the community,to build a mutual assistance elderly care relationship network,to achieve the goal of solving elderly care problems and improving the quality of elderly care.From the perspective of group work,this article selected S community,which has a large number of empty nest elderly,as the research object to study the shortcomings and shortcomings of existing mutual assistance elderly care services and service methods and content in S community,mainly involving community workers and the professionalism of community empty nest elderly in mutual assistance elderly care.Based on the general patterns and methods of group work,combined with altruism and the concept of helping people with social work,we learned about the real needs of empty nest elderly in the community,their understanding of the mutual assistance elderly care model,and the existing difficulties of mutual assistance elderly care through questionnaire surveys and interviews conducted in S community in the early stage,designed an activity plan suitable for the empty nest elderly in the community,and carried out practical group activities according to the activity plan,In the practical process,explore social work intervention methods and approaches to address the existing shortcomings of urban community mutual assistance elderly care services,enhance the professionalism of community mutual assistance elderly care,help community empty nest elderly build a sustainable and effective mutual assistance relationship network,improve online and offline help capabilities,etc.,in order to improve and strengthen the content level of urban community mutual assistance services.
