The teaching of scientific argumentation can help students to think dialectically and prudently about scientific or social issues and enhance their communication skills,so that their Scientific Literacy can be developed.The design and development of micro-video teaching resources has become a hot research topic in the field of education,but there are few researches combining scientific argumentation with micro-video.The research on the design and development of argument-based micro-video in chemistry teaching aims to enrich the argumentation teaching resources of chemistry discipline,promote the promotion of argumentation teaching,and hope to provide new ideas for the sustainable development of teaching micro-video.Based on the literature analysis method,this paper defines the core concepts in the research,probes into the functional value of scientific demonstration teaching,and analyzes the research status of the primary battery teaching in high school,as well as the development and application of teaching micro-video.Based on literature analysis,this paper puts forward the design principles and strategies of argument-based chemistry teaching micro-video,and summarizes the design process of teaching microvideo.Through the content analysis of the primary battery,the exploration of misconception,and the selection of knowledge content with demonstrative value,12argument-based teaching micro-videos with the themes of chemistry history,misconception changing,and problem solving were developed.This paper introduces and shows three micro-video cases in detail.Finally,questionnaires and interviews are used to survey and interview teachers and students who have watched teaching micro videos.According to the feedback of teachers and students,the quality of micro videos is analyzed.The results show that teachers and students have recognized the micro-video designed in this study,which indicates that the design principles,strategies and processes of the micro video of chemistry teaching based on argumentation are feasible and can make the argumentation teaching and micro video better integrate.Moreover,the series of micro-videos developed have been recognized by teachers and students in terms of topic selection,argumentation quality,appearance design,etc.providing a good argumentation teaching resource for the primary battery subject teaching.
