The purpose of innovative thinking is to solve problems, and the reasonable representation of problems is very important to solve them.Problem representation ability and creative thinking can be improved and developed through special training.First of all, this study investigated the level of problem representation and creative thinking of junior high school students with different mathematics scores(high grouping, middle grouping and low grouping)by using oral report method and reaction time method. The problem representation includes two aspects: situation representation and rule-structure representation, and creative thinking includes five dimensions: fluency, originality, refinement, early closure resistance and t itle abstraction. Then, three parallel classes with 123 students were randomly selected in grade one of a public middle school in Nanjing, and the experiment group-positive control group-control group was adopted to explore the effect of innovative thinking training on problem representation and creative thinking of grade one students through one-semester curriculum implementation. In the pre-test,the results of one-way ANOVA showed that:(1)in the exquisite dimension of creative thinking, the exquisiteness of the high score group and the middle score group was significantly higher than that of the low score group, and there was no difference between the high score group and the middle score group; There was no significant difference in other dimensions of creative thinking among high, medium and low groups.(2)On the problem representation, the response time of situation representation of groups in mathematics scores was significantly higher than that of high and low groups. The reaction time of rule-structure representation in high group was significantly higher than that in middle group and low group, and the reaction time of rule-structure representation in middle group was significantly higher than that in low group. The results of variance analysis of repeated measurements showed that:(1)there were no significant differences in the dimensions of problem representation and creative thinking among the experimental group, the positive control group and the control group during the pre-test;(2)The main time effect of creative thinking was significant, which was reflected in the four dimensions of fluency, originality, refinement and early closure resistance. The post-test scores of the three groups were significantly higher than the pre-test scores;(3)In the post-test,in the total score of creative thinking, the interaction between time and class was significant, and the post-test scores of experimental group and active control group were significantly higher than those of control group, but there was no significant difference between experimental group and active control group.(4)In the four dimensions of originality,exquisiteness,anti-premature closure and title abstraction, the experimental group's scores were significantly higher than those of the control group, while the active control group was significantly higher than the control group only in terms of exquisiteness and title abstraction, with no significant difference between the experimental group and the active control group.(5)The reaction time of the experimental group and the control group was significantly higher than that of the positive control group, but there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.(6)The reaction time of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the active control group and the control group in the rule-structure representation, and there was no significant difference between the two control groups. To sum up,the following conclusions are drawn: Structure-rule representation has a stable and significant positive correlation with students' mathematics scores. The longer the rule-structure representation reaction time, the higher the students' mathematics scores. The relationship between the situation representation reaction time and mathematics scores in this study is unstable.Innovative thinking training can promote the rule-structure representation and innovative thinking level of the first grade students in solving typical mathematical application problems.
