The influence of academic perseverance,academic self-concept and teachers' expectation on academic achievement has been paid close attention,but there are few studies on the joint effect of the three factors on academic achievement.This study uses the questionnaire method to comprehensively investigate the impact of individual factors such as academic perseverance and academic self-concept and environmental factors such as teachers' expectations on junior middle school students' academic performance.Using the mathematical academic self-concept scale,the Chinese version of academic perseverance questionnaire and the mathematical teacher expectation scale as research tools,this paper makes two follow-up measurements on 575 subjects in two middle schools to investigate the mediating role of mathematical academic self-concept between academic perseverance and mathematical academic achievement,as well as the moderating role of teacher expectation.The results show that:1.The level of mathematics academic self-concept and academic perseverance of junior middle school students decreased with the increase of grade;With the growth of grade,students' perceived teacher expectation shows a trend of first decreasing and then increasing.2.Cross lagged regression analysis shows that there is a causal relationship between academic perseverance and mathematics academic performance,and there is a causal relationship between mathematics academic self-concept and mathematics academic performance.3.The three dimensions of self cognition,self experience and self-regulation in mathematics academic self-concept play an intermediary role in the relationship between academic perseverance and mathematics academic achievement.4.The teacher behavior dimension in mathematics teachers' expectation can adjust the intermediary relationship of "academic perseverance-mathematical academic self-concept-mathematical academic achievement".It can be seen that both academic self-concept and academic perseverance are closely related to junior middle school students' academic achievement.Academic perseverance will affect junior middle school students' academic achievement through academic self-concept;Teachers' expectation and academic perseverance will also affect academic self-concept,and then indirectly affect junior middle school students' academic achievement.
