Practice Research On Improving Students’ Scientific Inquiry Abilities In Junior High School Based On 7E Instructional Model

Scientific inquiry,as one of the core literacy of biology,the proportion examined in education evaluation has been increasing year by year.The 7E instructional model is conducive to cultivating students’ scientific literacy.This research uses the method of literature on the 7E instructional model and scientific inquiry abilities,and then uses the 7E instructional model to design several cases.The results were tested by independent sample t-test through four months of teaching practice.According to the data,this study analyzed the effect of 7E instructional model on improving students’ scientific inquiry abilities.At the same time,the method of interview and survey were used to investigate the students’ and the teachers’ evaluation of the 7E instructional model.Finally,I study on how to select appropriate teaching content to carry out 7E instructional model combining teaching practice.The study found: The 7E instructional model can improve students’ scientific inquiry abilities.It is different in the improvement of students’ scientific inquiry abilities under different forms of scientific inquiry.The improvement of inquiry abilities is significant for simulation experiments and inquiry experiments.It has different effects on the improvement of different types of scientific inquiry abilities.Most students and teachers affirmed the effect of using the 7E instructional model to improve students’ scientific inquiry abilities.They agree with the development of 7E instructional model.The 7E instructional model can be used in a simulation experiment or an inquiry experiment.Three suggestions are put forward in the specific implementation of the 7E instructional model recording to the problems which exposed in teaching practice.Formulate the study groups reasonably.Make good use of evaluation and do a good job of layered teaching.Increase the opportunities for students to practice.
