The outbreak of the epidemic triggered people to rethink the relationship between man and nature.Though the children have the nature of being close to nature,many of them live in reinforced concrete cages,surrounded by various electronic products,and are getting further and further away from nature with the development of the social era and the acceleration of urbanization.Family is an important place for children to study and live,and bears the heavy responsibility of children's pro-natural education,so we should pay attention to the pro-natural education in family.In this study,469 parents from 2 urban kindergartens and 3 rural kindergartens were surveyed by questionnaire survey method and supplemented by interview method,aiming to investigate the status quo of pro-natural education for parents of 3-6 years old children in Nanjing.The conclusions are as follows :(1)Children's overall attitude towards family pro-natural education is good,but the performance of each dimension is not balanced.(2)There are differences in the status of children's parents' pro-nature education at different levels.There are significant differences in children's parents' attitude towards pro-natural education in children's age,parents' identity,parents' childhood growth place,parents' education background,family income.There are significant differences in the frequency and duration of pro-natural education in children's families in the areas of parents' childhood growth,education background,family income.(3)Parents' attitude towards pro-natural education is inconsistent with their behavior.(4)Parents have a sense of intervention to "children are not willing to get close to nature",and the intervention methods are diversified.(5)There are many kinds of nature experience activities,but they are not carried out consistently.(6)There are differences in the status quo of pro-natural education for 3-6 year old children in urban and rural areas.On this basis,the researchers put forward the following suggestions: First,parents should really take action to give children more lasting and repeatable opportunities to experience nature;Second,parents should put down their guard against safety,health and hygiene problems,and provide more opportunities for children to challenge themselves;Third,we should cooperate with each other to create conditions and contents of natural experience activities for children's families;Fourth,the government should provides policy support for children's family nature education.
