Research On The Content Of Patriotism Education In Macao Senior High School’s Moral Character And Citizen

Patriotism education is an important part of the ideological and political teaching materials of middle schools in our country.Strengthening patriotism education is helpful to cultivate students’ national concept and national emotion."Teaching materials are an important vehicle for patriotic education,and the joint compilation of teaching materials between the SAR government and the mainland deserves full recognition," Xi said during his visit to a Hou High School on December 19,2019,the 20 th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland.The textbook "Moral Character and Citizenship" in senior high schools of Macao is the first set of standardized moral education textbooks after Macao’s return to the motherland.From the trial edition to the revised edition,the narrative mode of patriotism education in the textbook "Moral Character and Citizenship" in senior high schools of Macao keeps up with The Times,and its design and compilation are gradually standardized and systematic.In 2019,the newly revised textbook Moral Character and Citizenship for senior high schools in Macao consolidated the power of The Times,based on the "life logic" of the student center,followed the law of the cognitive development of teenagers,and incorporated the elements of patriotism education into the teaching period of each unit of the textbook.Based on the review of relevant domestic and foreign materials,this paper makes a review on the patriotic education content and the teaching material "morality and citizenship" in senior high schools in Macao.Based on the relevant overview and theoretical basis of the textbook Moral Character and Citizenship of senior high schools in Macao,this paper provides theoretical basis and practical significance for the writing of the article by digging out the important significance and value of integrating the content elements of patriotic education into the textbook for its compiling content,patriotic emotion,educational value and textbook reform.According to the layout background and structural characteristics of the textbooks in Macao,this paper studies and analyzes the patriotic education contents in the textbooks from four perspectives,including design and compilation,content structure,specific text and presentation mode.Finally,the author tries to explore the methods and approaches of the infiltration of patriotic education content in Macao textbooks from four aspects: goal orientation,content construction,teaching methods and environment optimization.
