| As one of the seven basic disciplines,chemistry is not only the basis of the rapid development of natural science,but also a practical discipline urgently needed by society.Middle school chemistry education not only teaches students basic chemistry knowledge,but also enables students to realize the relationship between chemistry and society,life,environment,science and technology and human health.However,after the reform of the new college entrance examination,the survey found that the real situation is that students are less interested in learning chemistry and the proportion of students who choose to study chemistry as their elective course is very low.This situation is particularly prominent in some remote rural middle schools where educational resources are relatively scarce.Experiment is the subject characteristic of chemistry,the use of experiment can enhance students’ learning motivation,expand their scientific thinking,and promote students to master scientific research methods.Therefore,it is of great significance to pay attention to the application of experiments in the teaching process of middle school education,especially in remote rural middle schools,for cultivating students’ innovation ability and helping them master chemical knowledge.Based on the statistics and summary of the literature related to chemical experiments in recent years,it is found that many studies have pointed out that the use of interesting chemical experiments can enrich the teaching methods of chemical experiments and improve students’ interest in learning.However,most of the current researches on interesting chemistry experiments are based on the high school students in urban middle schools,and rarely involve the rural middle schools.On this basis,this study selects chemistry teachers and students of rural middle schools in Xinhuang County as the research objects,and uses questionnaire and interview methods to study the application of interesting chemistry experiment in rural middle schools.Based on the theories of "constructivist learning","humanism" and "learning by doing",this study adheres to the principle of experiment content fitting life,and adheres to the principles of interest,practicality,openness,openness Based on the principle of the coexistence of subjectivity,with the help of the opportunity of rural education support,we selected the production of "milkshake","copper tree,silver tree",the movement of ammonia molecules and the corrosiveness of concentrated sulfuric acid and other interesting chemical experiments,and applied them to classroom teaching and school-based curriculum development.Based on the author’s own experience of being a volunteer teacher in rural areas,this article puts forward improvement measures from three aspects: the design direction of interesting chemistry experiment in rural middle schools,how to improve the effect of developing interesting chemistry experiments in rural middle schools and the application strategies of interesting chemistry experiments in rural middle schools.The author compares the teaching effects of the interesting chemistry experiment teaching and the traditional teaching methods in neighboring rural middle schools.Through a questionnaire survey of students’ interest on learning chemistry,it is found that the students who have been educated by interesting chemistry experiment teaching method are more interested in learning chemistry than those by traditional teaching methods.The students who have been educated by interesting chemistry experiment teaching method got much higher scores in their chemical experiment operation than those students who have been educated by traditional teaching method.According to the statistics of the experimental operation,there are few students who have been educated by interesting chemistry experiment teaching method got a score between60 and 69,which shows that the application of interesting chemical experiment in teaching has a significant effect on improving the experimental operation ability of students with average academic performance.By comparing the chemistry score of senior high school entrance examination of the students who have been educated by interesting chemistry experiment teaching method and those have been educated by traditional teaching methods,it draws the conclusion that the performance of the students who have been educated by interesting chemistry experiment teaching method are significantly higher than those have been educated by traditional teaching method in terms of the passing rate,excellent rate and average score.Therefore,the author concludes that the application of interesting chemistry experiment in chemistry teaching of rural middle school can not only stimulate students’ interest in chemistry learning and help students to obtain the knowledge in a better way,but also enhance students’ ability of experimental operation.This research can not only be used as a case of Xinhuang County how to use interesting chemistry experiments to enhance students’ interest in learning and help students master relevant chemistry knowledge,but also has a certain reference significance for other remote rural middle schools to carry out interesting experiments in order to enhance the learning motivation of students and help students master basic knowledge. |
