Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and people have new expectations and requirements for education.To strengthen teaching,we must first strengthen teachers.Teachers' understanding and grasping of knowledge in teaching activities will have the most critical and direct impact on students' learning.There are many stages in the growth of teachers,and the prospective teacher education stage is a crucial stage in the process of teacher education.At the same time,prospective teachers also shoulder the great responsibility of education and the heavy responsibility of society.In order to study teachers' knowledge,Ball,a professor at the University of Michigan in the United States,and his team(2001)formally put forward "Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching"(MKT for short)for mathematics teachers' teaching knowledge for the first time,which refers to the mathematics knowledge that teachers need in mathematics teaching,and then put forward a structural model of MKT,which provides a good theoretical basis for the study of teachers' knowledge structure.Based on the theory of "mathematical knowledge for teaching"(MKT)put forward by Ball,this paper constructs the MKT classification framework for prospective mathematics teachers by using mathematical reasoning as testing carrier,this paper investigates and studies 209 the prospective mathematics teachers' knowledge structure of teaching-oriented by means of test paper survey,and explores the current situation of prospective mathematics teachers' MKT and its influencing factors by means of questionnaire survey with background information,and the way to upgrade MKT.The findings are as follows:(1)the overall level of MKT about mathematical reasoning of prospective mathematics teachers is not very ideal,and there is much room for improvement in each sub-category of knowledge.(2)there are significant differences in the MKT level of mathematics reasoning among prospective mathematics teachers with different educational background;the MKT level of male students is higher than that of female students,but there is no significant gender difference.(3)The reading habit of extracurricular professional books and the experience of professional subject competition will all affect the MKT level of mathematical reasoning of prospective mathematics teachers,Reading more professional books after class and participating in professional subject competitions can significantly improve the MKT level of prospective mathematics teachers on mathematical reasoning.Different from previous studies,this paper takes MKT theory as the theoretical basis and the knowledge of "mathematical reasoning" in primary and secondary schools as the breakthrough point to study the present situation of MKT of prospective mathematics teachers.Finally,according to the conclusion of the study,some suggestions are put forward to improve the professional theory and practice of the prospective teachers In our country,and the further research is prospect.The innovation of this study lies in that it is the first time to study the present situation of teachers' teaching-oriented mathematical knowledge from the new perspective of mathematical reasoning,and it further broadens the research on MKT of teachers in China,at the same time,it also provides more reference for prospective mathematics teachers to develop their mathematics teaching knowledge,so as to promote their professional development.
