| X City is located in the Dabie Mountains area and has many county senior high schools.The professional quality of senior high school teachers directly determines the level of local education.Therefore,the level of professional quality of senior high school history teachers directly affects the quality of local senior high school history education.According to the “Professional Standards for Secondary School Teachers(Trial)”and related research,the professional quality of senior high school history teachers mainly refers to the core competencies of the professional disciplines that should be possessed in the career of history teaching.This includes four dimensions: the professional idea,the professional theoretical knowledge,the education teaching ability and the historical research ability.The survey shows that the history teachers of county senior high schools in X City have a good foundation for theoretical study and teaching practice,and can meet the basic needs of senior high school history teaching in the county.However,due to the heavy teaching task,the lack of a reasonable development mechanism,the different benefits of learning methods and the weakness of internal development motivation,there is still a certain room for some history teachers’ professional quality to develop.There are some situations that are not conducive to higher-quality development of history education and teaching in senior high schools,such as the imbalance of professional theoretical knowledge structure,the need to optimize and upgrade education and teaching ability,and the lack of historical research ability.The problems exposed in the professional development of history teachers in the county senior high schools need to be solved by the joint efforts of teachers,schools and educational administrative departments.Teachers should take the initiative to adjust their state to adapt to the development of the new situation.Schools and administrative departments should widen the channels of cooperation and exchange,implement the safeguard policies and create a favorable environment for the development of senior high school history teachers.These measures can help history teachers to solve practical problems in professional development and effectively promote the development of senior high schools history teachers in the county.The investigation and study of the professional quality of senior high school history teachers in the county is helpful to form a more comprehensive understanding of the actual ability of senior high school history teachers in the region to engage in history education.And the relevant suggestions based on the existing problems are of great practical significance to promote the development of history teachers in the county senior high schools. |
