Great changes are taking place in all countries and fields in the world today,and problems are emerging one after another.Massive amounts of information,network security,financial security,and epidemic diseases pose challenges to modern mankind.Facing these challenges,people need to have a strong comprehensive ability to solve problems;As a kind of comprehensive thinking ability of high cognitive level,higher order thinking ability should be one of the necessary abilities for human beings to overcome many difficulties.Under the background of this era,the educational circles pay more and more attention to the cultivation of students' higher-order mathematical thinking ability,so the research on higher-order thinking has become a hot topic in education research.As far as Our country is concerned,the research progress of higher-order thinking ability in mathematics is slow,the important reason is that the concept of higher-order thinking ability is vague and the evaluation tools are few.In view of this,this study is committed to defining the concept of higher-order mathematical thinking ability,in order to understand the current situation of higher-order mathematical thinking ability of senior two students through the measurement tools based on the evaluation framework,and put forward effective suggestions.First of all,through careful literature study and sorting,analysis and comparison of the research results of various schools,define the concept of higher-order thinking ability,and determine the evaluation framework of higher-order mathematical thinking ability;Secondly,test papers and scoring standards were prepared according to the evaluation framework,and formal test papers with high reliability and validity and reasonable evaluation standards were formed after repeated revisions through pre-testing and expert consultation.Then through the formal test,the current situation of mathematics advanced thinking ability of senior two students is quantitatively analyzed.Finally,based on the survey results and interviews with teachers,suggestions are put forward to cultivate students' higher-order mathematical thinking ability from both teachers and students.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Higher-order thinking is the synthesis of higher-order thinking ability and higher-order thinking tendency;The elements of higher order thinking ability include understanding ability,application ability,analysis ability,evaluation ability and creation ability.2.The evaluation framework of mathematical higher-order thinking ability is composed of 5 first-level indicators and 13 second-level indicators;The test paper is composed of 13 test questions,and each question corresponds to a second-level index.The scoring standard is formulated according to the SOLO classification method,and all elements are divided into level 1 to Level 5,which has good differentiation and hierarchy.3.After the statistical analysis of the test results,it is found that the overall level of mathematical higher-order thinking ability of grade two students is low,and the variation trend of scores from comprehension ability to creativity is gradually lower.Female students' understanding ability is slightly higher than male students,but there is no statistically significant difference between male and female students.The school atmosphere has a great influence on students' higher-order mathematical thinking ability.Mathematics higher order thinking ability has significant influence on students' mathematics achievement.
