The chemistry curriculum standard for senior high schools(2017 edition,2020 revision)emphasizes the creation of real and specific problem situations and the cultivation and development of students' chemistry disciplinary core competency through problem solving.The application of situational teaching method in chemistry teaching is inseparable from the support of situational materials.The collection,screening and processing of situational materials affect the effect of situational teaching.Therefore,this study takes the investigation on the current situation of the selection of chemical situational materials as the starting point,and studies the selection of situational materials in senior high school chemistry teaching based on the chemistry disciplinary core competency,so as to help teachers better use situational materials for teaching based on competency.The main contents and conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The results of teachers' questionnaire survey show that situational teaching is an effective way to cultivate and develop students' chemistry disciplinary core competency.Most teachers affirm and support situational teaching under the background of chemistry disciplinary core competency,but there are difficulties in the selection of situational materials,and there are problems to be solved.(2)To solve the problem that the direction of discipline core competency is not clear when teachers choose situational materials,the content principle of chemical reaction from the compulsory textbook for senior high school chemistry in the People's Education Edition was chosen to be analyzed by the content analysis method.Through in-depth excavation of the orientation of the chemistry disciplinary core competency of the situational materials in the textbooks,it is concluded that:(1)The situational materials and the chemistry disciplinary core competency are not simply one-to-one correspondence;(2)The situational materials of the textbook permeate all aspects of the chemistry disciplinary core competency,especially focusing on the three competencies: evidence-based reasoning and model cognition,changing concepts and balanced thoughts,and macro identification and micro analysis.The results of the study are helpful for teachers to better grasp the orientation of the chemistry disciplinary core competency presented in the textbooks,and to cultivate the chemistry disciplinary core competency in different dimensions in different situations.(3)Aiming at the problems of "the collection of situational materials is time-consuming and inefficient","the standard of applicable materials is not clear","the specific process of the selection of situational materials is not clear",this paper made a comprehensive analysis of relevant theoretical research,and put forward the strategy of collection of situational materials,the principle and strategy of selection of situational materials,and the selection model of situational materials based on the chemistry disciplinary core competency.Based on the model,the corresponding situational teaching cases are designed.This study proposed targeted strategies and models for the selection of situational materials,which can help teachers select situational materials to create effective teaching situations more scientifically and reasonably.
