Chemistry situational questions of Senior are one of the kind of new topic exercises which new curriculum standard advocates. It can fully measure and test students' scientific literacy. And chemical situational test questions increase annually in the national college entrance examination in recent years. Studying chemistry situational questions is to promote the new curriculum teaching reform, to help us know and exert the function of exercises, to promote the development of pencil-and-paper tests.At present domestic scholars mostly concerned situational contents,characteristics,function and knowledge of chemical situational questions, however it is black space to research in the application of chemical situational questions for empirical research and questionnaire research of high school teachers and students to situational questions cognition.Based on the theory of constructivism,the situated cognition and learning theory,effect factor of problem solving for the theoretical basis, this statistics application of frequency about situational questions in national college entrance examination nearly ten and in the papers for new course chemical examination in nearly three years using the method of researching. This paper deals with the concept definition and systemic theory related to chemical situational questions. Several typical middle school sampled from the middle school in guilin participated in this study. Using the method of questionnaire, interviewing and case analysis, We analyzed the application frequency of daily chemistry teaching in senior high school. This research investigated chemistry teachers in senior high school " teaching application status of senior high school chemistry situational questions " and did case analysis about situational questions in the chemistry test in typical school.The results are listed below:First, whether in the area of curriculum reform or not, situational questions in daily teaching are applied less frequency. In Guang Xi examination papers situational questions are generally less than 10% in senior high school freshman, below 20% in senior two and in twelfth grade not more than 30%.Second, chemical teachers not being in curriculum reform are generally not too concerned about situational question and they also understand and apply it insufficient.Third, the students not being in curriculum reform generally exist psychological barriers in solving situational question.And their problem-solving ability of the situational combine type question is poor.On this basis of situational question theory and application in teaching research, we put forward some situational teaching strategies about exercising lessons,chemistry classroom teachingand the college entrance examination review in this paper. The author hopes to bring some insights to the coming guangxi's chemistry curriculum. Limiting the researcher level and time, this research conclusion needs further examination.
