| With the advent of the 21th century, educational development and innovation have become an important strategy in dealing with increasingly international competitions all over the world. The theories of socialization and all-life study go gradually deep into the public. Study has become the main means and capabilities of future social existence and development. Learning to study has become the education reform' s main current direction. According to the theory for quality education, school education must be faced to all students, and place great emphasis on student' s creativity, practical capability, brave exploration and creative science spirit, laying a solid foundation in students' sustainable development.In order to present this theory, new senior chemistry students' books published by People' s education press are affiliated with relative background information, which can provide real situations for knowledgeable learning in the form of reading, discussion and little family experiment. Additional situational materials in new students' books are an important strategic measure, reflecting deep reforms in teaching theory. Their contents are fully interesting and readable, whose establishments present spiritual concentration to students bringing students' training of emotions and attitudes onto the agendas. With the wide application of situational materials to practical teaching, there must be deep reforms in education views, teaching contents, teaching models and teaching process. Faced with the question that how situational materials play an effective role in teaching, I am lost into so deep thought that I establish the developments and uses of situational materials based on senior Chemistry teaching as my research subject.My research subject is divided into three parts.Parti: Analyze the backgrounds, meanings and theoretic basis of situational materials designed by new books and their characteristics and functions , laying an theoretic foundation for the developments and uses of situational materials.Part2: Through questionnaire and statistics, analyze existing questions of situational materials applied in teaching. Explore the necessities and possibilities of situational materials' development.PartS: Through the analysis of recent teaching cases, I focus on the combination between situational materials and classroom teaching, emphasize the creativities of teaching methods and seek for the ways to question situational teaching in senior chemistry teaching. In teaching practice, I discover that question situational teaching can go through the whole process of chemistry teaching. No matter whether elements and compounds teaching or chemistry basic concepts principles teaching andchemistry experimental teaching, question situational teaching can be used in them.The aim of this subject: No matter whether the developments or applications in situational materials, I aim at fostering students' full characters and their multiple qualities.
