Ancient poetry is an important treasure for inheriting and carrying forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and teaching ancient poetry is an important part of elementary school language teaching.With the emphasis on“moral education as the core” quality education and the advocacy of “cultural self-confidence”,ancient poems have gradually become an important way to develop students' language,thinking,aesthetics and culture because of their special rhythm,rich connotation and profound cultural heritage,as well as a major means to cultivate This study is based on the core literacy of language.Based on the perspective of language core literacy,this study analyzes and investigates the real-life problems of teaching ancient poetry in upper elementary school,explores practical strategies for optimizing ancient poetry teaching,and establishes an efficient classroom for ancient poetry so as to promote the formation and development of students' language core literacy.This study is divided into five parts.The first part: survey research uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case study method to investigate the current situation of teaching ancient poems in elementary school.It is dedicated to optimizing the teaching strategies of ancient poetry in the upper school level and truly implementing language core literacy into the teaching of ancient poetry,providing feasible teaching strategies for front-line teachers.At the same time,the research background,research significance,literature review,concept definition and research ideas are discussed.The second part: The analysis starts from the nature and specific requirements of the curriculum of the new standard,the characteristics of teaching ancient poems in elementary school,and the number of ancient poems in the unified version of the textbook in elementary school,and explores the relationship between teaching ancient poems in elementary school and core language literacy.The 2022 edition of the new curriculum standards clarifies the connotation of language core literacy and establishes a "literacy-based curriculum goal system",which integrates language core literacy in the curriculum goals at the compulsory education level,so that language core literacy and language teaching are closely linked.After deeper excavation,we found that there is a positive effect of mutual integration and promotion between teaching ancient poems in elementary school and language core literacy.The third part: The questionnaires were randomly selected from four schools to understand the current situation of teaching ancient poetry from the students' perspective,and the structure and content of the questionnaires were analyzed and organized.Interviews were conducted with teachers in the upper grades to understand the understanding of teaching ancient poetry and language core literacy from the teachers' perspective,and the contents of the interviews were sorted out.The fourth part: Based on the analysis and collation of questionnaires,teacher interviews and teaching cases,we found that the problems of teaching ancient poetry include: language use,teachers lack guidance on recitation and provide space for poetry use;thinking ability,students lack thinking space;aesthetic creation,poetry appreciation is diluted and teaching is solidified;cultural confidence,teachers ignore the excavation of traditional culture in ancient poetry.The main reasons for the problems are: teachers' deviations in educational philosophy and lack of aesthetic literacy;neglecting the cultivation of students' subjectivity and imagination in teaching,teaching curing,and neglecting the role of ancient poetry teaching in promoting traditional culture.The fifth part: Based on the core language literacy,strategies for optimization are proposed in conjunction with the questions.In language and thinking,emphasis is placed on emphasizing recitation and application,creating space for thinking development,and mobilizing students' creativity and initiative in thinking.In addition,the aesthetic and cultural dimensions should enhance teachers' and students' aesthetic experiences,conduct extended reading,create a learning environment for students,and explore the national spirit behind the poems.
