The reform of basic education in China has entered a new historical stage,and the discipline core literacy has led a new round of curriculum,teaching materials and teaching reform.The teaching design that is beneficial to cultivating students' teaching core literacy is vital.As a new teaching design concept with evaluation first and "end as beginning",UbD concept provides a clear design path for teachers.This paper tried to carry out reverse teaching design and put into practice,took the "buoyancy" unit of junior high school physics as an example,which everified the effectiveness and feasibility of reverse teaching design based on UbD concept,The specific research contents were as follows:The first part: For clearing the current status of research about UbD concept,reverse instructional design,and to clarify the research background of this paper,relevant domestic and international literature was surveyed.Based on the concept and method of reverse teaching design,the research significance and method of this paper were further clarified,UbD concepts,big ideas,and instructional design concepts are defined.The second part: The operating procedure of reverse instructional design based on UbD concept was sorted out,The priority of the content in the unit "Buoyancy" and the level of student mastery of the different points are clarified,The big concepts of the 4 units,the basic problems,and the reverse design logic of the "buoyancy" unit are explained.The third part: The chapter "Buoyancy" was designed in accordance with the reverse instructional design procedure based on the UbD concept.Unit learning objectives are elaborated;the core physics literacies to which the unit objectives point are specified;the design intent of the different assessment evidence is presented;the learning process is designed guided by the WHERETO elements.Besides,based on the unit design,three class hours were designed,Evidence indicated to the six facets of assessment: interpretation,elaboration,application,insight,divine access,and self-knowledge,as well as the lesson design of the teaching activities are elaborated.The fourth part: The questionnaire development process and the basis for the selection of the experimental and control classes are discussed.Internship school classes were selected and studied for classroom practice using a control method.Before the implementation of teaching,Pre-test data were obtained and analyzed,and the results showed that two classes met the selection criteria.Based on this,The experimental class was taught with the reverse instructional design idea based on the UbD concept,and the control class was taught with the traditional tuition model.After the teaching,Post-test data were obtained and mathematical analysis was used to analyze the differences in student learning and achievement between the two classes and the specific changes in students in the different dimensions of the questionnaire.The comparison revealed that the experimental classes did not show significant differences in theoretical scores,but improved to a certain extent.By comparing the scores of each dimensions in the learning questionnaire results,Students in the experimental class were significantly higher than those in the control class.The results show that the reverse teaching design based on UbD concept can play an effective positive role in promoting the students' learning interest,participation,understanding and application ability.In addition,the behavioral performance of students in both classes was quantified and analyzed with reference to the Classroom Behavioral Performance Scale.The results show that the students of the experimental class through reverse teaching practice have improved in the classroom participation,goal achievement and new knowledge application to a certain extent.In summary,after theoretical research and teaching practice,it is found that compared with traditional physics teaching,the reverse teaching design based on UbD concept has certain advantages in Junior high school physics teaching,which can effectively enhance students' learning effect.It is sincerely expected that this research can provide some reference for more teachers' teaching.
