In the context of rural revitalization strategy,as China attaches more and more importance to the development of rural education,the issue of rural teacher team building has become an important theme in the current research field of teacher management.A quality rural teacher team requires not only rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience in education,but also teachers’ love and understanding of rural children,rural education and rural life,and the formation of a rural feelings identity that unites knowledge and action.However,a review of related studies shows that there are more theoretical and discursive studies on rural teachers’ rural feelings and fewer empirical studies based on reality.To this end,this paper examines the current situation of rural elementary school teachers’ rural feelings,analyzes the problems they present,and proposes effective countermeasures to cultivate them.This paper analyzes the connotation and necessity of cultivating rural elementary school teachers’ local sentiment through literature,and then determines the research dimensions of this paper by combining some interviews with rural elementary school teachers,and then compiles the Rural Elementary School Teachers’ Local Sentiment Questionnaire based on this.The study used questionnaires from three townships(towns)in S County,Hunan Province and interviews in the rural elementary school education site as the basic means to examine the current situation of rural elementary school teachers’ vernacular sentiment in S County,using the questionnaire statistics of more than three hundred teachers and the field interview information of nine teachers to argue with each other,and gave two sets of judgments on the rural elementary school teachers’ vernacular sentiment situation,namely,rural elementary school teachers’ vernacular sentiment is good overall but We found that teachers’ local sentiment was not high under the alienation of rural life,not high enough under the low material treatment,not strong enough under the heavy workload,not deep enough under the parents’ incomprehension,and not heavy enough under the difficulties of promotion and development.Finally,this paper analyzes the causes of these problems and considers the cultivation of rural elementary school teachers’ rural feelings: in pre-service education,local knowledge should be incorporated into the curriculum and practical training bases should be built in cooperation with rural schools to enhance teachers’ sense of local adaptation;in material treatment,national financial expenditure on education should be increased,rural education expenditure should be increased,and the design of rural allowance should be optimized to In terms of work boundaries,teachers’ workload should be reduced by increasing the supply of teachers according to actual needs and stripping away affairs unrelated to work duties;in terms of work environment,the social atmosphere of rural society respecting teachers and education should be reshaped while strengthening home-school cooperation in order to shape good home-school relationships;in terms of post-service training,teachers’ professional development should be enhanced and a rural teacher training capstone center should be established to promote teachers’ professional development. |
