In recent years,affected by the COVID-19,people's outdoor activities have been limited to a certain extent,and began to turn their attention to family indoor fitness.With its excellent fitness effect,sports bike has been favored by the masses,but the traditional sports bike is lack of interest compared with real riding.Therefore,this paper develops a VR free riding system based on panoramic video,which combines panoramic video,VR and ordinary bicycles to improve the interest of indoor riding and enhance the desire of users.The main research work of this paper is as follows:Design low-cost indoor riding equipment.It is refitted on the basis of ordinary household bicycle,and hardware such as bicycle fixed bracket,infrared photoelectric sensor and angle sensor are added.Collect the data of speed and turning angle through Arduino development board,and use Bluetooth to transmit the data to VR equipment to realize the communication between bicycle and VR equipment.Design immersive VR riding software.Through virtual scene construction,model construction,interface design,VR interactive logic writing and other operations,the software development is completed,which provides model-based and panoramic virtual riding scenes and enhances the interest of riding.Using the Lean Cloud cloud server,players can communicate with each other,and multiple people can ride synchronously in the same room.A panoramic roaming method based on panoramic video mosaic technology is proposed.The traditional riding system based on panoramic video has a fixed path,which can not turn according to the actual situation of the road.In this paper,the panoramic video of the main road and branch road and the multi segment transition video at the corner are photographed,and each segment of the video is logically spliced.Through the comparison of the transition video,the most suitable transition segment is obtained,so as to realize the autonomous and smooth roaming with the panoramic video as the background.
