Among the existing training programs for normal students in normal universities,the cultivation of experimental teaching ability of normal students has not been paid enough attention.Normal students lack the opportunity to go to the front-line experimental classroom to experience the real teaching.The curriculum design of experimental teaching theory deviates from the center of gravity,focusing on the cultivation of experimental ability of normal students rather than experimental teaching ability.With the development of the new curriculum reform,how to effectively improve the experimental teaching ability of normal university students,and how to cultivate professional normal students with comprehensive teaching ability are the problems that normal university has to face.With the rapid development of virtual reality(VR)technology since 2016,its unique characteristics of imagination,immersion and interaction make it widely used in skills training in military,medical,education and other fields.In this essay,virtual reality technology as a breakthrough point,for the improvement of the experimental teaching theory course,a new idea is proposed to train students' experimental teaching ability,and verify its effectiveness.Specifically,on the basis of literature reading,this essay summarizes the application of virtual reality technology in the field of education.Taking the chemical normal students as an example,based on the existing research,this essay investigates and analyzes the current situation of the experimental teaching ability of the chemical normal students.It finds that the practical design ability and the experimental explanation ability as the short board of the experimental teaching ability need to be improved.On this basis,the feasibility of the application of virtual reality technology in the course of experimental teaching theory is demonstrated.The VR panoramic video learning resources are designed and developed based on the front-line chemical experiment course,and the ADDIE design model of VR panoramic video application in teaching is summarized.At last,the practice teaching centered on learners is carried out to verify the effectiveness of VR panoramic video as a learning resource for the cultivation of normal students' experimental teaching ability.In the empirical stage,25 students in a class were selected as the experimental subjects by using the experimental method.VR panoramic video was used as the auxiliary means of learning,and the technical acceptance,learning input and learning interest of the experimental subjects were measured by the scale.Combined with the control group,independent sample T-test was used to analyze the data from various dimensions.Based on the interview with the teachers of the image and the front-line,the research finds that:(1)the normal students have a high degree of technical acceptance for VR panoramic video as an example;(2)VR panoramic video improves the learning interest of the normal students;(3)VR panoramic video improves the learning investment of the normal students;(4)VR panoramic video promotes the normal students to master the experimental teaching theory knowledge It is conducive to the improvement of experimental teaching ability.
