Mathematical language conversion helps students concretize abstract mathematical problems from different forms and angles by transforming abstract mathematical knowledge in various forms.In recent years,the research on mathematical language conversion ability has been developing continuously,but there are few studies focusing on primary school,and the evaluation methods are not rich enough.This subject is "the current situation of the mathematical language conversion ability of the sixth grade pupils",takes the sixth grade pupils as the research object,and uses SOLO classification theory as the evaluation tool to compile evaluation codes of various dimensions of mathematical language conversion ability and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.The results show that:(1)The mathematical language conversion ability of sixth grade pupils is at a low level.(2)Except that there is no difference in directly between the two kinds of mathematical languages,there are differences in the conversion between the two languages with different forms,some of which are significant differences.(3)Sixth-grade students' errors in mathematical language conversion can be divided into conceptual errors and linguistic errors.This study makes error analysis and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.In teaching,teachers should help students to strengthen the ability,for the same teaching content,to help students understand;Attach importance to improving students' ability of mathematical language expression,and create opportunities for students to try to use mathematical language expression;In this process,so as to avoid the one-way training of certain mathematical language conversion ability.In this process,so as to avoid cultivating the conversion ability in a single direction.Two-way teaching can better help students to cultivate and improve this ability.
