Discipline competence is a critical part of discipline core literacy,quality of education pays attention to the improvement of students' comprehensive quality and ability,along with the further deepening of new curriculum reform,the cultivation of chemistry discipline competence and evaluation is more and more attention,however,there are few researches on the development and evaluation of chemistry discipline competence assessment tools for senior high school students in accordance with the new textbook,so it is of theoretical and practical significance to develop chemistry discipline competence assessment tools and measure the level distribution of chemistry discipline competence of senior high school students.Through the analysis of relevant scholars' research,chemistry discipline competence is defined as the stable psychological characteristics developed by students through chemistry discipline learning and chemical problem solving.The ability elements of chemistry discipline competence are determined as follows: chemistry terms representational competence,chemistry model-based thinking competence,chemistry experiment competence and chemistry quantitative competence are divided into four levels and the specific performance of each level is described.The evaluation framework of each element of chemistry discipline competence is constructed.On this basis,a test paper is compiled for compulsory chemistry 1(2019 edition)published by People's Education Press.To evaluate the chemistry discipline competence of three classes of students in Senior One of A Middle school in Yingde City,Guangdong Province.With Rasch model as the guidance,Winsteps 3.66.0 software was used for data analysis to obtain the overall quality table,project fitting and error statistics,bubble chart,standard residual chart,white chart,so as to test the reliability and validity of the test questions,and optimize the evaluation tool according to the first round of test results.To investigate the current situation of chemistry discipline competence of Senior One students by means of assessment tools.The results show that: the evaluation tools are of good quality.The overall quality of the tool shows that the reliability and separation degree of the subjects and the project are excellent.The fitting degree parameter is close to the ideal value and the error is small.Guangdong Yingde A High School Senior One students have strong chemistry terms representational competence,mainly at level four.The average level of the chemistry model-based thinking competence and the chemistry experiment competence is in level 3,the average level of the chemistry quantitative competence is in level 2,the integrated computation ability weak.Based on this,some teaching suggestions are put forward: To clarify the teaching key of chemistry terms and promote the understanding of the nature of chemistry terms writing;Summarize the relationship between material transformation and the law of change and guide students to self-construct material relationship model.Create real problem situation and carry out experimental inquiry teaching;Select and elaborate design exercises,pay attention to the problem solving ideas and matters needing attention.The sample size selected in this study is too small,and the distribution of the chemistry discipline competence level of senior one students is not wide enough.In the future,the sample size and coverage can be increased,the ability performance standard can be further revised,and the assessment tool can be improved.
