Study On The Perception And Demand Of Rural Junior Middle School Students To Beautification Of School Environment From The Perspective Of School Culture ——Based On The Survey Of School A In City D

With the continuous attention of the country to the school environment and the increasing demand of students for a more beautiful school environment,the beautification of the school environment not only needs to be based on its own school culture,but also needs to understand the perception and demand of students for the school environment.As an important way for schools to beautify their own environment,students' perception and demand is an important issue worthy of schools' attention and improvement.Based on Maslow's Need Theory,Environmental Behavior Theory and Place Theory,this study explores the perception and demand of rural middle school students for school environment beautification and its influencing factors.The research adopts the interview method and questionnaire survey method to interview teachers and students' representatives of School A in City D to understand students' general perception of the school.Then questionnaires are designed according to the interview,and all the students are surveyed.SPSS Statistical Analysis Software is used to analyze the data with various quantitative analysis methods.The results show that(1)there are significant differences in students' perception and demand for school environment by grade,gender,achievement and admission goal.Grade factors have a significant impact on the needs of school culture;Gender factors have a significant impact on material environment and activity culture needs;Achievement factors have a significant impact on the material environment and the needs of school culture.The goal factors have a significant impact on the needs of school culture.(2)The status situation of school environment and school culture has a certain influence on students' perception and demand.The more perfect the environment,the higher students' satisfaction with the environment,and the less their demand.On the contrary,the lower students' satisfaction with the environment,the more requirements they put forward on the school environment.Meanwhile,the more perfect the school culture is,the higher students' demand will be.Through the research,the following suggestions are put forward for the beautification of school environment:(1)Improve and perfect the design of school,increase the characteristics of school material environment construction;(2)Improve school greening;(3)Perfect the school culture system and enhance the individuality;(4)Raise funds to improve school hardware conditions.
