As the information age coming,information and technology have demonstrated their advantages in the field of education.And information technology has become a compulsory course in primary and middle schools.The Deepening the Overall Plan of Education Evaluation in the New Era issued by The State Council pointed out that teaching should not only focus on the learning results,but also focus more on the learning process.Some studies show that student engagement is an important observation index to evaluate students' learning process,and plays a positive role in predicting the learning effect.However,some scholars have found that student engagement isn't high in the teaching practice of senior high school information technology subject,which directly affects the classroom teaching effect.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct in-depth research from the current level,influencing factors and improvement strategies of student engagement in the senior high school information technology classroom environment,in order to enrich the application of student engagement theory in the field of middle school teaching,and open up a new research path for the reform of teaching mode.The paper firstly described the research status of student engagement of information technology.Then,based on the existing literature at home and abroad and the disciplinary characteristics of information technology course,the paper determined the teacher support as environmental factor and computer self-efficacy as oneself factor to research.At the same time,the paper concluded the relevant concepts and measurement of three factors,and clarified the relationship among three factors.On the basis of a literature review,a theoretical model of the relationship between teacher support,computer self-efficacy and student engagement of information technology was constructed.According to the authoritative scale,the influencing factor questionnaire of information technology was designed.To deeply analyze the student engagement level of information technology,the specific behavior observation record table was formulated.After a small-scale pretest,a formal questionnaire was formed.A formal questionnaire survey was conducted on 264 students.Two classes was observed.Besides data were collected and pre-processed.Teacher support,computer self-efficacy and student engagement of information technology were studied with the effects of independent sample T-test.Especially,data of student engagement of information technology was clustered and analyzed,and also the classroom observation data was analyzed.Furthermore,the relationship between teacher support,computer self-efficacy and student engagement of information technology,and the mediation effect of computer self-efficacy was explored with structural equation.The results are as follows:(1)the perceived teacher support is at the upper middle level,and the student engagement of information technology and computer self-efficacy are at the middle level;(2)there is the significant correlation between the perceived teacher support,computer self-efficacy and student engagement of information technology;(3)the intermediary effect of computer self-efficacy is significant.According to the study concluded,relevant suggestions are put forward to improve student engagement of information technology.First,to give teacher support.Second,to improve the computer self-efficacy.Third,to change parents attitude.Fourth,to strengthen the construction of schools.Finally,the limitations of the paper are pointed out and the future prospects are given.
