The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 Edition)puts forward that “emphasis should be placed on cultivating students' extensive interest in reading,expanding reading scope,increasing reading quantity and improving reading taste.Advocate less questions,read more books,read good books,read the whole book ”.Since then,the whole book reading has become a research hotspot,teachers actively explore and practice the whole book reading teaching of primary School Chinese.The reading teaching quality of the whole book is related to students' reading quality and affects their reading accomplishment.At present,there are many researches on the whole book reading teaching in primary schools,but few focus on the middle and high levels of primary schools.This paper takes the whole book reading teaching as the research object,takes the middle and high school as the entry point,explores the improvement strategy of the whole book reading teaching.The research found that the reading teaching of the whole book in the middle and senior section of S Primary school was oriented by "reading literacy",focusing on the improvement of students' reading ability.Uphold the curriculum implementation concept of taking students as the foundation and promoting ability through reading;The teaching target points to students' reading interest,reading method,thinking and expression;The teaching arrangement calls the Chinese class and the reading appreciation class flexibly.The whole book reading teaching mainly revolves around three types of teaching: the initiation of teaching to stimulate interest;Follow-up courses focus on continuous reading;Share lessons and talk about harvest.As for the reading teaching evaluation of the whole book,formative evaluation is the main evaluation method,reading achievement is the main evaluation content,and teachers are the main evaluation subject.The results of the whole book reading teaching in S primary school are mainly reflected in two aspects: for students,it enriches their reading strategies and enlivens their reading thinking;For teachers,the teaching concept has been changed and their comprehensive quality has been improved.At the same time,the whole book reading teaching in S primary school has the following problems: lack of a complete curriculum system;The teaching frequency of whole book reading is low;The teaching objectives designed by teachers are simple;Single teaching method;Lack of planning in students' reading;Students' reading is highly utilitarian.According to the research on the whole book reading teaching practice of the school,the effectiveness of the whole book reading teaching in S primary school is reflected in: for students,it enriched their reading strategies and activated their reading thinking.For teachers,the teaching concept has been changed and their comprehensive quality has been improved.At the same time,S primary school has the following problems in the whole book reading teaching,lacking a complete curriculum system;The teaching frequency of whole book reading in school is low;The teaching objectives designed by teachers are simple;Single teaching method;Lack of planning in students' reading;Students' reading is highly utilitarian.In view of the above problems,the author puts forward improvement strategies from the perspectives of schools,teachers and students.From the school point of view,improve the construction of the whole book reading curriculum system;Strengthen the training for teachers to read the whole book;Strengthen the overall planning of the whole book reading activities;Carry out teaching and research activities to read the whole book.From the teacher's point of view,choose the whole book reading list rationally;Make scientific reading teaching objectives for the whole book;Update the whole book reading teaching method.From the perspective of students,reasonable planning of reading time;Master reading methods;Develop good reading habits.
