With the development of economy,the State advocates reading for the whole people and improves the quality of the people.Reading can improve students' comprehensive quality and form sound personality.Therefore,the whole book reading receives the attention of teachers and parents,and occupies an increasingly important position in the language education system.The senior students in primary school are immature in mental development and lack of ability to distinguish right from wrong.They need teachers and parents to guide them in their growth process and form good reading habits so as to benefit their whole life.The research of this paper tries to find out the problems of pupils in the whole book reading and teachers' teaching from the real reading situation.Through scientific analysis,this paper puts forward effective teaching strategies,tries to make some innovations in the theoretical research of the whole book reading teaching in primary schools,and provides some suggestions for the teaching of reading in primary schools.In practice,it provides a little help for the teaching design of the whole book reading in primary schools,and strives to provide some inspiration and reference for the teaching of reading in primary schools.This paper consists of four parts: introduction,theory overview,current situation analysis and optimization strategy.In the first chapter,the introduction mainly distinguishes the concepts of the whole book reading and the whole book reading teaching,and explains the research ideas and methods of this paper.The second chapter mainly explains the importance and theoretical support of the whole book reading teaching.The third chapter takes Lanzhou experimental primary school as an example,investigates the achievements and shortcomings of the whole book reading teaching,and analyses the causes of the problems.Chapter IV is aimed at investigating the problems existing in the whole book reading teaching in primary and secondary schools and putting forward optimization strategies.It mainly includes improving the professional level of teachers,strengthening the guidance of the whole book reading,creating a good reading environment for students,and ensuring the reading atmosphere.Strengthen the practicality of the whole book reading teaching and provide more abundant cases for teachers' reference in teaching.Change the single evaluation model and evaluate students' reading situation in various ways.
