In the context of education in the new era of curriculum reform,the reform of curriculum and teaching is taking literacy as the core of the value transformation,the concept of Big Ideas has therefore attracted much attention.In practice,how to use the Big Ideas to make literacy concrete and transform the education idea into action are imminent.UbD aims at developing and deepening students' understanding,and its educational concepts,such as teaching for understanding and big ideas are quite in line with the requirements of quality-oriented curriculum reform,providing an operational path for Unit Teaching which are directed at core literacy from the perspective of Big Ideas.Therefore,from the perspective of Big Ideas,the discussion of comprehension unit teaching based on UbD is conducive to the implementation of the core literacy of the discipline and has certain practical significance.The author systematically composes the literature related to the Big Ideas and UbD by literature analysis method,and summarizes its research development,hot spots,practical appeals and other related contents.Based on Taylor's principle,Gestalt psychology and other theories,this thesis takes UbD as the prototype and uses Big Ideas as a concept tool to construct a unit teaching framework based on UbD theory from the perspective of Big Ideas.The framework is a three-stage teaching design with the promotion of students' understanding as the core,using the "Backward Design" idea to strengthen understanding,and using the unity of Big Ideas to present structural knowledge,helping students to clarify the internal relationship of things and obtain a holistic understanding of the unit.The effectiveness of this framework is tested by design and experiment.In the information technology environment,the teaching scheme design of the "Probability Preliminary" unit is based on the framework;the experimental research method and the investigation research method are used for teaching implementation,the learning results of the Performance Task,the test results of the experimental class and the control class are analyzed,and the teaching and learning feelings and attitudes of teachers and students are collected through students' questionnaires and teachers' interviews.The results of the study show that the teaching framework can promote understanding and development,help students grasp the content from the unit as a whole;at the same time,it has a certain degree of inspiration and attraction,and the integration with modern information technology makes it have a positive role in mobilizing students' interest in learning and improving classroom participation,and can provide certain support for teachers' teaching.The research shows that the unit teaching framework based on UbD constructed in this thesis has a positive impact on promoting students' understanding,and it is expected to provide ideas for the teaching and research of implementing core literacy in the context of curriculum reform,and provide practical experience for the application of Big Ideas and UbD in unit teaching.This study is still in its infancy,and the framework needs to be progressively refined in long-term,normative empirical testing.
