With the changes of the times,"statistics and probability" is more closely related to our life,and is more widely used in all fields of people's life.After entering the 21 st century,people began to pay more attention to the cultivation and development of some potential traits.With the rise of such ideas,schools began to pay more attention to the measurement and cultivation of students' learning ability.The learning ability of senior one students is at a turning point of transition.It is necessary to measure the learning ability of senior one students in "statistics and probability".In this study,item response theory is selected as the measurement theory.Based on this theory,a more scientific measurement scale of "statistics and probability" learning ability of senior one students is obtained.Guided by the compulsory second textbook of senior high school mathematics human education version b and the mathematics curriculum standard of ordinary senior high school(2017 Edition),and assisted by relevant teaching guidance books,this study preliminarily determined 30 single choice questions about "statistics and probability".Select some senior high school students for prediction,correct and delete unreasonable questions according to the prediction results,and get a measurement scale containing 24 questions.According to the item type of each item in the measurement scale is a single choice question,the three parameter logistic model of item response theory is used to analyze the measurement scale.Based on the item response theory and the data answered by students,this study carries out one-dimensional hypothesis test,model data fitting test and parameter estimation.The results show that the measurement scale meets the one-dimensional hypothesis;In the model data fitting test,there are 4 questions with poor fitting effect,which should be deleted;In parameter estimation,6questions are not within the specified range of parameters and will be deleted.Based on the parameter estimation results,the project characteristic curve and information function curve are drawn.According to the project information function curve,Item 9 which is difficult to identify students' learning ability is deleted,and finally a measurement scale containing 15 single choice questions is obtained.According to the item characteristic curve,test information function curve and the analysis of each topic of the final measurement scale,it is found that the ratio of simple questions,medium difficulty questions and more difficult questions in the final measurement scale is2:10:3,which basically meets the difficulty standard of a test paper;The final measurement scale provides a maximum amount of information close to 10,which can more accurately identify students' learning ability;The learning ability of students in mutual independent events,opposite events,mutually exclusive events and other related knowledge needs to be improved.
