Nowadays,the fundamental task of education in our country is to cultivate morality teach students the knowledge and skills they need for future life.The publication of “General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)” provides normative requirements for the teaching of senior school mathematics.The requirements of curriculum standards require emphasize on subject concepts and the implementation of the core competencies of mathematics disciplines guided by units.The major concept of the subject can reflect the essence of the subject and it is the main line of teaching.And the unit guides the teaching of the whole unit with the principle of integrity.The unit teaching based on the big concept of the subject emphasizes the structuring of knowledge and thinking,promoting the transfer of knowledge,taking students' cooperative exploration as the main body,and giving full play to students' autonomy and enthusiasm,thereby cultivating the core literacy of the subject.The innovation of this thesis is to design a unit teaching case based on the big concept of the subject,and combine the big concept of the subject with the unit teaching as a bridge between learning knowledge and forming ability of students.Three questions are set up based on this idea:(1)The theoretical research on the subject concept,unit teaching design and“Basic Elementary Functions(I)”;(2)The unit teaching design of exploring “Basic Elementary Functions(I)”;(3)The implementation effect of the unit teaching of "Basic Elementary Functions(I)" based on the big concept of the subject.This thesis takes the above three questions as the main line,adopting Literature Research Method,Case Analysis Method,Questionnaire Survey Method and Interview Method to study the unit teaching design based on the subject concept,and taking cognitive transfer theory and unit teaching design principles as foundation to design teaching case.The first part of this thesis introduces the background of this research in detail,defines the main terms and concepts involved in it and the innovation of the research;the second part expounds the theoretical basis that the research needs to be applied to,investigates the existing research status,and conducts literature review;the third part formulates the thinking and method of this research;the fourth part develops the teaching design case of the unit;the fifth part analyzes and evaluates the effect of teaching implementation and draws the conclusion of the researchThe teaching content of this study takes the unit “Basic Elementary Functions(I)” in Chapter 4 of Compulsory 2 of High School People's Education Edition B as an example,including the concepts and operations of exponential and logarithm,the concepts of exponential function,logarithmic function and power function,nature and images.The development of teaching cases follows the following steps.Firstly,based on the theory of the major concepts of the subject,the unit teaching cases are developed and designed according to the principles of unit teaching design,and then the teaching is implemented in the experimental class.The effect of teaching implementation is obtained through in-depth interviews with students and teachers.Finally,through the evaluation and analysis of the implementation effect,the research conclusions and research problems related to the research purpose are drawn.By analyzing the research results,three conclusions are drawn.Firstly,the teaching design of high school mathematics unit based on the big concept of the subject is of great significance for strengthening the structure of students' knowledge,promoting knowledge transfer and cultivating the core literacy of the subject.Secondly,the unit teaching design of“Basic Elementary Functions(I)” fully integrates the core competencies of mathematics and the content of mathematics courses as a while.Thirdly,the unit teaching of “Basic Elementary Functions(I)” contributes to achieve teaching goals,master the important and difficult points of teaching,and cultivate students' core literacy of mathematics of students.
