Research On Development And Application Of Ideological And Political Resources In High School Geography Curriculum

At the 2016 National Conference on Ideological and political work in colleges and universities,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that colleges and universities should focus on building virtue and cultivating people,and that all kinds of courses should go hand in hand with ideological and political theory courses to create synergy.The course of ideological and political education is to excavate the content of ideological and political education in each subject,to bring into play the educational value of each subject,and to realize the whole-person,whole-process and all-round education.High School geography curriculum is an important part of our basic education,should actively assume the responsibility of curriculum education,and actively carry out the geography curriculum ideological and political work.However,due to the short time since the introduction of the curriculum ideology and politics,the current research on the curriculum ideology and politics is mainly concentrated in colleges and secondary vocational schools,and the research on the curriculum ideology and politics of middle school geography is less,therefore,the research on the development and application of ideological and political resources in middle school geography curriculum is a problem worth exploring.This paper defines the concepts of “Ideological and political course”and“Courses for ideological,political education”by using the method of literature,and combs the current research situation at home and abroad,which is the basis of the study.Through classroom observation,questionnaire survey,interviews to understand the current middle school geography curriculum in the ideological and political problems.Taking this as the starting point,the national ideological and political requirements,the Chinese students' development of core literacy,and the general high school geography curriculum standards are taken as the basis for the construction of the ideological and political content of the geography curriculum,the ideological and political contents of geography curriculum are extracted from six aspects:“Cultivation of humanistic spirit”,“Scientific inquiry spirit”,“Environmental responsibility”,“Social norm”,“National identity”,“International understanding”.Based on the Chapter Structure of Senior Geography Textbook of people's Education Press(2019 edition),this paper develops the ideological and political resources of senior geography textbook of people's Education Press(2019 edition)from these six aspects,and designs teaching cases for some chapters.
