Now as 5G has entered a large-scale commercial phase in China,the rapid development of 5G has opening a new chapter in the revolution of the commu-nication industry.3GPP,ITU-R and other standard organizations have succes-sively released 5G channel standards and proposed channel modeling schemes to achieve a more accurate description of channel fading characteristics.Channel emulators are widely used in engineering applications to produce the channel response in actual transmission environment of the radio chan-nel.However,at present,the domestic manufacturers have not digged into chan-nel emulators research and development.And the implementation of 5G stan-dard channel model on channel emulators is also facing great challenges.Based on the limitation of the performance of the existing channel emulators,a simpli-fied method for the IMT-2020 standard 5G channel model released by ITU-R is proposed in this thesis,which makes the IMT-2020 channel model can be bet-ter applied to the channel simulator within a certain error range,and the effect of its implementation on the channel emulators is verified.The main research results of this thesis are as follows:1.Deep research on multiple channel models and performance parame-ters of mainstream channel emulators.In response to the new requirements of 5G communication systems,multiple organizations have proposed their own 5G channel models,and this thesis makes a comparative analysis of the com-mon channel model.Among them,IMT-2020 model is the 5G standard channel model proposed by ITU-R,according to which I participated in the develop-ment of IMT-2020 standardized channel model simulation platform,and a brief introducation of the simulation process of this platform is presented in this the-sis;the development of high-performance channel simulator has always been a difficult point in the communication instrument manufacturing industry,this paper compares the performance parameters of the current mainstream chan-nel emulators with the self-research channel emulator,and this thesis analyzes the limitations which the 5G standard channel model on the implementation of channel emulators will face.2.The simplification and verification of the 5G standard channel model.Due to the realization of 5G channel model on channel simulator facing with many limitations,such as limited number of multipath,limited delay accuracy,etc..According to the simulation capability limitation of self-researched chan-nel emulator,the 5G standard channel model is simplified in two aspects:low power cluster reduction and cluster delay adjustment,and verifies the impact of simplification on simulation performance and accuracy.3.Verification of the performance of the self-research channel emulator.Wireless channel emulators play an irreplaceable role in the evaluation,testing and de-ployment of wireless communication network systems,providing a reliable and accurate wireless channel communication environment.In view of this,the im-plementation of the channel emulator must be verified to ensure the accuracy of the implementation of the channel model.In this thesis,a channel emulator verification scheme can be realized under the existing laboratory resources is presented.Considering the verification scheme,the self-research channel emu-lator is verified based on the simplified 5G channel model.This thesis takes the 5G standard channel simulation platform and self-research channel emulator as the basis,takes the simplification and validation of the 5G standard model as the innovation point,and uses the re-producation the channel model accurately by channel emulator as the application.The work done in this thesis includes both theoretical and practical parts,That also pro-vides a reference for our subsequent research.
