Study On Liandu District Public Library To Improve The Public Service Quality

The public cultural service function of the library is becoming more and more prominent in the information age.Public libraries play an important role in the architecture of public cultural service system in modern society.This study aimed to provide quality cultural services to the residents and guarantees citizens’ cultural rights simultaneously.In the national promotion of cultural and tourism integration,culture and tourism jointly promote regional development,heed the construction of library public cultural service system.This is conducive to improving the overall quality of residents and the process of spiritual civilization construction.The purpose of this paper is to study how to improve the public service quality of Liandu District Public Library(hereinafter referred to as Liandu District Library)in Lishui City.This paper expounded the related theories such as urban public cultural goods and services,public library,and smart library.Based on the theory of public goods and the theory of new public service and the five laws of library science,this study discussed how to improve the public service quality of Liandu district library by means of literature research,case law and questionnaire.In the first place,this paper discussed smart development and public service supply status quo of Liandu District Library.First,an overview was conducted toward the situation of Zhejiang libraries as well as Liandu Distric Library,specifically the main functions and four core advantages of this library.Second,the study explored the current situation of Liandu District Library as a smart library,core services that benefit the people and public service supply,and the development urgently need for transformation.In the second place,this study discussed the problems embedded in public service by this library,including insufficient infrastructure space,insufficient book resources reserve,limited reading promotion activities,and the service quality to be strengthened.The data analysis revealed: a)the Liandu District Library Space is not large,b)the Liandu District Library is insufficient in its stock,c)promotion activities of reading inside the library becomes obsolete,d)the Liandu District residents reading demand is increasing,and the its budget is limited.Based on the above findings,this paper puts forward the following five measures to improve the public service quality of Liandu District library.First,the library can improve the utilization rate of its public cultural service facilities.Second,the library can build a cultural zone.Third,the library can further deepen the smart function of the library and promote its reading activities.Fourth,the library can construct an intelligent content supply system.Fifth,the library can enhance the value of library resources.In the end,this study pointed out its limitedness and prospected studies in the future.
