With the rapid development of modern technology,phones,computers,cameras and other smart terminals has brought great convenience to people,and become an important part of ours daily life.For example,The hardware requirements of mobile phones are getting higher and higher.Larger screens,stronger processing chips,and faster computing capabilities to achieve more functions.In this way,Phones make their power requirements increasingly greater.However,the innovation of mobile phone batteries has not kept up with this advancement pace of mobile phone technology.With limited mobile phone battery capacity,people can only optimize the use of mobile phone battery by improving its charging speed.Therefore,how to charge faster is a new trend and new challenge in the development of modern smart terminals.This paper studies and designs a mobile terminal charger quick identification chip based on QC(quick-charge)3.0 protocol.The design scheme takes into account the functions of the QC3.0 protocol and the backward compatible QC2.0 protocol and USB BC 1.2 protocol.The fast identification circuit in this paper as the purpose of controlling the output voltage by designed adjusts the proportion of the output voltage feedback resistance adjusting the current source.In the whole design process,firstly,the content of the protocol was deeply studied,and then elaborate on the function of the circuit.Secondly,the circuit was divided into an analog part and a digital part: the analog part includes the modules under the analog signal,such as the bandgap reference source module,Input sampling module,etc.the function of the digital logic module is described by verilog HDL,realized by gate-level circuit,and simulated verification and optimized design.The unit modules of the remaining analog circuit parts are also simulated and optimized one by one,finally,this paper completed the overall simulation verification.In the end,the verification shows that the designed mobile terminal charger rapid identification chip based on the QC3.0 protocol meets the QC3.0 protocol and the downward QC2.0 protocol and USB BC 1.2 protocol application functional demand.The verification shows that the designed mode switching disturbance filter time is 42 ms,the filter time of the continuous step current source control signal is 154?s,the maximum output current is 164.5?A,and the step current is 2?A.All design specifications satisfy the design demand.
