| In 2020,the COVID-19 epidemic swept the world,and the epidemic spread rapidly,which had a negative impact on social stability and economic development.In the face of public health emergencies,China’s mainstream media have made a rapid voice,spread high-quality data news with technical advantages and channel advantages,played the resource advantages of mainstream media,optimized the presentation form and expression of data news,and improved the communication,influence,guidance and credibility of mainstream media.It is undoubtedly of great academic value and application value to study the communication power of data journalism of mainstream media dominated by three media during the COVID-19 epidemic to improve the communication power of data journalism of mainstream media under public health emergencies.Therefore,this paper selects 317 data news reports from January 21,2020 to December 31,2020 as samples by taking Xinhua "data news",The Paper "Meishu Course" and Jiemian "data line" as representatives of mainstream media,and establishes the framework of data news communication power of mainstream media.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis by means of text analysis,case analysis and comparative analysis to study the transmission power of data journalism of mainstream media dominated by three media during the COVID-19 epidemic.Firstly,this paper defines the three concepts of "mainstream media","data news" and "communication power" through the research of existing literature,and then carries out literature review on "mainstream media report under public health emergencies","mainstream media data news practice under public health emergencies" and "communication power".Secondly,by summarizing the development of mainstream media data news and the mainstream media data news reports under public health emergencies,this paper puts forward the research framework of mainstream media data news communication power based on the existing literature.Thirdly,the research content of this paper focuses on the communication subject,communication content and communication effect of data news of mainstream media during the COVID-19 epidemic.It is found that the media subject positioning,operation team and page design affect the choice of communication content;In the communication content,publishing cycle,title production,report function,theme type,visual presentation and data source are the core factors that affect the effect of mainstream media data news communication;Communication effect is the explicit form of communication power,and audience feedback can be obtained from the data of likes and comments.Finally,this paper summarizes the shortcomings of mainstream media data journalism in COVID-19 epidemic report,and analyzes the problems of insufficient data news prediction function,homogeneity of reporting topics and lack of interaction in visual presentation.Under the background of public health emergencies,this paper tries to put forward suggestions on the promotion strategy of mainstream media’s data journalism communication power under public health emergencies from four aspects:public opinion guidance,data storage and data opening,reporting perspective and data interaction. |
