| Accompanied by the development of digital technology and the diversity of culture,virtual idol worship,which is different from the real person,is one of the hot phenomena that has received attention in recent years.These virtual idols rely on holographic technology to achieve the convergence of the real and digital world.Meanwhile virtual idols can do performance activities like real idols,they also have unique characteristics and related products.In the consumer society,they gained a lot of attentions owing to their meanings of symbol,and brought considerable business value.At the same time,with the rise of consumption culture,the psychological characteristics of subcultural groups,text production,interaction behavior,etc.have become an important part of mass culture research.Based on interactive ritual chain theory,this paper combines the media environment of the Bilibili platform and representative cases to study the interactive rituals between the virtual idols and their fans at Bilibili.By studying the image construction and interactive behaviors of virtual idols at Bilibili,this paper provides valuable perspectives and knowledge for the study of virtual idols,as well as extends the application of the interactive ritual chain.Based on the influence,activity and other factors of Bilibili,this paper selects virtual idols as the research object,conducts a detailed analysis of their fans’ behavior and interactions,attempts to understand the environmental factors of the interactions between virtual idols and their fans.On the one hand,in order to have a deeper understanding of how the fan groups of virtual idols in Bilibili interact and achieve high-viscosity connections,it is necessary to learn more about the interaction mechanism and procedure,as well as the psychological characteristics of interaction.On the other hand,due to the application of a large number of technologies in virtual idols,it is critical to distinguish the boundary between the real and the virtual world,and to guide virtual idol fan groups to interact correctly.The findings of this study are three-fold.First of all,in terms of the construction of the interactive ritual market model,the interaction between virtual idols and fans at Bilibili can exist in a variety of situations.The reasons why fans choose to interact is not the situation or the ritual,but determined by the level of emotional energy that may be obtained.Therefore,in the exchange process of the interactive ritual market,the most critical factor is the emotional energy in return,which promotes the rational exchange process of the interactive ritual market.Secondly,in terms of the future development of virtual idols,the virtual idols of Bilibili should strengthen its Chinese characteristics and create an IP with a unique idol atmosphere.In addition,creating virtual idols with Chinese characteristics is an effective way to break the wall between virtual and real world.In the future,designers can increase the proportion of Chinese-style design beyond the cartoon design,and promote cultural publicity with virtual idols,connect not only virtual and reality,but also domestic and international.Finally,in terms of platform development,Bilibili should make good use of its inclusive characteristics,optimize the interactive environment,and give producers more spiritual support to produce more high-quality content.Producers can also form a booster through the creation of virtual idols,so that they can continue to create on the platform and have the opportunity to transfer from subculture to mainstream culture.In addition,promoting the cooperative relationship between Bilibili and other platforms is one of the ways to provide strong assistance to the content on the platform.Bilibili should pay attention to its own environmental protection and clarity,to create an ecological environment of creating high-quality original contents,and create a better communication and interaction atmosphere for the further development of virtual idols. |
