Research On Conformal Antenna Array Based On Microstrip Antenna

With the development of space vehicles,the requirements for antenna arrays that can conform to the surface of carriers such as aircraft are increasingly urgent.Conformal arrays have become a research hotspot in the field of antennas because they can meet the working performance of the antenna without destroying the shape structure and aerodynamic characteristics of the carrier.Due to the low profile and easy processing characteristics of the microstrip antenna,it is very suitable as the element antenna of the conformal antenna array.The work of this paper is summarized as follows:(1)For the surface conformal matrix of the tiled plane subarray,a corresponding pattern synthesis algorithm is designed in this paper,and the complex geometric relationship and formula derivation are replaced by vector operations to improve the feasibility of the algorithm.The cylindrical conformal array designed in this paper is based on a tiled plane sub-array.The matching of the cylindrical array is decomposed into the matching of the annular array and the triangular linear array,and its circumscribed curve is fitted to the conformal array,which not only realizes the curved surface The dimensionality reduction design of the conformal array retains a series of advantages of the conformal array,and can fit any curve,that is,the curvature can be reconfigured,and it can adapt to any surface with non-single curvature.(2)A distributed beam control system is designed,which separates the feeding phase in the axial and circumferential directions of the cylindrical array,and uses the look-up table method to store the wave control code in the memory for the complex feeding of the array elements in the circumferential direction.,while the simple radial matching uses a real-time solution algorithm and FPGA for calculation,which simplifies the computational complexity and can quickly complete the scanning of the azimuth and elevation planes of the antenna array.(3)A decoupling microstrip antenna unit is designed by loading metallized vias,and the cylindrical array is processed and assembled using this unit,and the cylindrical array and the beam control system are assembled to complete the different antenna arrays.Orientation measurement of scan angle.
