With the development of progress of society,more and more attentions are paid to the set of extensive public physical course of high institutions.Public physical education courses in the universities,which are related to the healthy development of students' physical fitness,have also received more and more attention.The extensive public physical course of high institutions,which is an important part of the school curriculum system and a central part of the physical education in colleges and universities,plays a significant role in cultivating lifelong sports and physical fitness of ordinary college students.However,the traditional teaching method of public sports basketball elective course still have many problems,such as single teaching mode,low learning efficiency of students and so on.Therefore,improving the traditional teaching methods of college public sports basketball elective courses is a teaching and research topic,which needs to be considered at the present time.The “multiple feedback teaching method” takes the multi-directional transmission of information as the link,which could increase the interest of teachers and students in teaching and learning,create a learning atmosphere,and improve the teaching effect of teaching methods.Comparing with the traditional teaching method,the multi-feedback teaching method could attach importance to individual students,emphasize the information exchange between teachers and students as well as students and students,and improve the timeliness of feedback and communication.Therefore,this research selected 76 second-year ordinary college students of Sichuan Tourism University as the respondents,which were divided into the experimental group and the control group.Under the same external conditions of teaching content,teaching time and venue,multiple feedback teaching methods and the traditional teaching method were respectively performed for 16 weeks.Before and after the experiment,physical fitness,basketball skills,learning interest and teaching effect of the students were tested and investigated,and the data were compared and analyzed.The following conclusions are drawn through experiments:1.Multiple feedback teaching method has a significant impact on improving the learning effect of basketball skills.Before and after the experiment,the students in the experimental group and the control group were assessed on basketball skills,and their related scores were compared and analyzed.The results showed that the use of“multiple feedback teaching method” for teaching can significantly improve students' basketball skills.2.Multiple feedback teaching method is helpful to cultivate student's interest in basketball.Teaching in multiple feedback teaching method can cultivate students' interest in basketball courses and sports,and at the same time,it can reduce students' negative attitude towards sports and promote students to participate in sports in their spare time.The application of feedback teaching method can encourage students to participate in more sports in their spare time,thereby establishing the consciousness and goal of lifelong physical exercise.3.Multiple feedback teaching method plays an important effect on improving the speed and explosiveness of students.According to the experimental results,it indicates that the speed and explosive power of the students have been significantly improved,and there are no obvious effects on the improvement of endurance after a semester of public basketball teaching.4.After using the “multiple feedback teaching method” and “traditional teaching method” were performed respectively,the results of teaching method evaluation and learning effect evaluation in the experimental group students are better than those of the control group.significant differences indicated that multiple feedback teaching method is recognized by students.The following suggestions are recommended for the above problems:1.Plan free activity time of students scientifically and add sports games to enhance the fun of the classroom;2.Keep in touch with students during the cycles of instruction;3.Strengthen students' physical fitness exercise during the teaching process;4.Adopt “multiple feedback teaching method” in the public physical education courses of university and develop it innovatively.
