The "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Strengthening School Sports to Promote the All-round Development of Students' Physical and Mental Health" pointed out: "School physical education is still a relatively weak link in the entire education industry." The development of school physical education is inseparable from the construction of physical education curriculum.As a practical course,physical education is the core part of the construction of physical education curriculum,and the selection of sports items should have a set of academic rational basis.However,with the increasing number of sports events,especially with a large number of emerging sports projects constantly pouring into campuses,it is found in the practice of sports technical teaching that the current setting of public sports technical subjects in colleges and universities presents a complicated situation.Even some controversial projects such as e-sports,chess and cards have been included in the scope of sports practice courses.In the limited learning time of students,the current college public physical education in the selection of technical subjects should give priority to which sports items should be selected as the teaching content,which still lacks academic rationality.Based on this,this research adopts literature method,interview method,logical analysis method and qualitative research method.Through investigating the setting of public sports in 7 colleges and universities,we can understand the actual status of different sports in colleges and universities,and explore the colleges and universities.The realistic dilemma of the setting of sports events in the "Public Physical Education Course" is to explore its path dependence,and put forward the hierarchical order of the establishment of public physical education courses in colleges and universities,in order to provide a certain academic rational basis for the selection of sports events in the public sports curriculum in Chinese universities.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.Looking at the changes in the setting of physical education in modern colleges and universities in my country,its development process is mainly manifested as follows:(1)Since modern times,the setting of physical education in colleges and universities has shown a transition from the state-based to the people-based to a certain extent;Since the establishment of China,the selection of public physical education content in colleges and universities has developed from singularity to diversification;(3)After the reform and opening up,the setting of sports events in public physical education courses in colleges and universities has changed from competitive to entertainment.2.Different sports as the path to the teaching content of "public physical education" in colleges and universities depend on:(1)the guidance of college sports policies;(2)the power of sports courses;(3)the resources of sports courses.3.The current dilemmas in the development of public physical education in colleges and universities include:(1)The inclusion of different sports in the "public sports class" shows a polarized trend of "irrational" expansion;(2)different sports in the "public sports class" The pendulum phenomenon of "time in and out" is shown in the game;(3)The development of sports events with the nature of "national authoritarianism" shows fragmentation and virtual operation among colleges and universities.There should be a certain grade order in the setting of sports events in the public physical education curriculum of colleges and universities,namely:(1)Give priority to the development of survival skills and return to the origin of the value of sports life education;(2)Carry out universal sports programs in an all-round way to strengthen students' sports participation and physical health;(3)Focus on the development of traditional sports programs to promote national culture Continued;(4)Focus on the construction of school-based physical education courses and demonstrate the school-running characteristics of "one school,one product".
