Research On The Influence Mechanism Of Community Social Worker Professional Role

The exertion of professional role is the "core" of social work profession,which embodies the professional value and professional characteristics of social work.When investigating the professional roles of four community social work teams in Shenzhen during the period of the prevention and control of NCP,the author found that there were great differences in the professional roles played by these four teams,some teams can actively play the professional role of social workers while cooperating well with the Community Party Committee,and have achieved good service results.Some teams work completely under the administrative arrangement of the Community Party Committee,or not play the professional role of social workers at all,or indirectly play the professional role of social workers,why there are some such differences? What are the influencing mechanisms behind the professional role of community social workers during the outbreak of NCP? This is the problem that this article wants to study.Based on the field investigation,this paper makes a detailed understanding of the specific work content and professional role of 4 community social work teams under the epidemic situation of NCP through literature review and interviews.It was found that some teams played the professional roles of Social Work Service provider,resource linker,supporter,educator and crisis intervener,while others played the role of work helper.Through a comparative study of the actual situation of the four teams,combining the perspective of professional autonomy of professional sociology and state intervention,it is found that the main mechanism affecting the professional role of social workers is the professional and administrative influence and restriction of community social workers.A team with strong "professionalism" can take the initiative in playing its professional role and take the lead,showing a cooperative and participatory form of social work with the Community Party Committee,"administrative" strong team in the professional role played in a completely passive state,showing a right-dependent form of social work,at the same time,the different direction of "administration" also has different influence on the professional role of social workers,or promote or inhibit.The professional role of social workers can not be played without the promotion of their own "professionalism," but the intervention of external administrative forces can not be ignored,especially in China where the development of social work careers is deeply affected by state intervention,the completely "industry self-occupation" type of social work is impractical.While actively promoting professional capital,we should also actively embrace the existing development opportunities and upgrade the political capital of the social work industry.
