In economic politics and policies along with labor economics,the minimum wage is considered as a most important issue.The basic purpose of policies related to minimum wages is to control poverty,inequality and support workers of low wages.The main objective of this research paper is to evaluate and identify the overall impact of the telecommunication sector minimum wage policy on the performance of employees.The research also aims to understand the mediating effect of job satisfaction and compensation satisfaction on the relationship between employee's perception of minimum wage policy and in-role performance.The study has been conducted in the context of the USA,China and Ivory Coast.In order to identify the impact of perception of minimum wage policy on the performance of employees,most of the data of the study were collected through the use of an online survey questionnaire.The results showed that the impact of perception of minimum wage policy on the in-role performance of employees was significant.The results of the research also indicate that the mediated role of job satisfaction and compensation satisfaction also affects the relationship between perception of minimum wage policy and in-role performance of an employee.This study has several theoretical and practical implications and contributions that are beneficial for and applicable to the telecommunications sector and firms of the USA,Ivory Coast,and China.
