| Population migration is an important social phenomenon in the process of China’s social transformation. In recent years,China’s population migration is undergoing a process of familyization.Children’s migration has gradually become the norm, and the number of migrant children has continued to grow.Compared with ordinary children, migrant children face various pressures from the family and society, and they have more risks in their physical, mental, and behavioral development.Behavioral development is procedural. The initial deviant behavior may evolve into subsequent academic and social failures,anti-social behaviors, etc.,and even lead to more serious problem behaviors and criminal behaviors. Therefore, exploring the deviant behavior of migrant children and its influencing factors and launching appropriate interventions have great practical significance for their healthy growth and social stability. As the main social environment for children’s growth, family and peers are undoubtedly two extremely important levels that influence their behavioral development.Mobility will greatly weaken parental care and parent-child interaction,so that the family functions of migrant children can’t be played normally and effectively compared with ordinary children.Children can’t get the social function of the family, and the attachment object can easily turn to their peers. They seek support and complain about their troubles by interacting with friends. How will this affect their individual development, and in particular how it will affect their deviant behavior?Compared to urban children, what are the differences in the above effects? In different regional environments, how do family and peer factors affect the deviant behaviors of the two groups? This is the issue that this article will focus on.At present, most of the studies on behavior problems of migrant children use field surveys or interview data to describe and discuss the current situation of migrant children’s deviant behaviors.A few studies have analyzed the causes of deviant behaviors from aspects of parenting styles, family functions, and other aspects.Few studies have examined peer factors Impact on its deviant behavior. Moreover, the existing research basically uses small-scale regional survey data, and the sample representativeness is limited.Based on this, this article uses the 2014-2015 China Education Tracking Survey(CEPS)data for research. The main research contents are as follows:(1)Describe the characteristics and current situation of deviant behavior in rural migrant and urban adolescents, compare their differences in parent-children interaction and peer behavior, and explore the relationship between parent-children interaction, peer behavior and deviant behavior.(2)Construct a quantitative model of parent-children interaction and peer behavior on adolescents ’deviant behaviors, reveal and compare the effects of parent-children interaction and peer behaviors on rural migrant and urban adolescents’deviant behaviors.(3)The samples are further grouped according to the eastern, central and western regions, and the differences in the impact of parent-children interaction and peer behavior on rural migrant and urban adolescents’ behaviors under different socioeconomic conditions are discussed. The research led to the following key conclusions:(1)There are significant differences in parent-children interaction, peer behavior, and deviant behavior among rural migrant and urban adolescents.Generally speaking, adolescents have more common problems such as swearing and fighting. However, compared with urban adolescents, rural migrant adolescents often show more aggressive behaviors and violations of discipline.Rural migrant adolescents have a worse parent-children interaction than urban adolescents, and they are significantly different from urban adolescents in parental supervision,parent-child communication, and parent-child relationships. At the same time, compared with urban adolescents, rural migrant adolescents have fewer high-quality peers and significantly more deviant behaviors in peer groups.Families and peers are important sources of adolescents’ deviant behaviors, and are of great significance to the development and adaptation of adolescents. Therefore, there may be some correlations between parent-children interaction, peer behaviors and deviant behaviors, and the correlation analysis results between the three are also confirm this.(2)Parent-children interaction and peer behavior are important influencing factors, and there are group differences in the effect of adolescents’ deviant behavior. The results of multi-level linear regression show that the parent-children interaction has a significant negative impact on adolescents’ deviant behaviors, that is,the better the interaction between parent and child, the lower the tendency of teenagers to make deviant behaviors.Compared with urban adolescents, the impact of parent-children interaction on rural migrant adolescents is particularly obvious.Similarly, peer behaviors also have a significant impact on adolescents ’deviant behaviors.Among them, peers’ positive behaviors show a significant negative impact, indicating that the role model of high-quality peers can prevent adolescents from doing deviant behaviors to a certain extent, while peers ’negative behaviors It has a significant positive impact. The association of bad peers will aggravate adolescents’ deviant behaviors. The above-mentioned effects are more significant among rural migrant adolescents.(3)The influence of parent-children interaction and peer behavior on rural migrant and urban adolescents’ deviant behaviors is different in different regional environments. The samples were divided into two groups, the east, the middle and the west by region.Through descriptive analysis,it was found that adolescents in the central and western regions showed relatively more deviant behaviors, and rural migrant adolescents in the same area had more deviant behaviors than urban adolescents.Empirical analysis shows that,in the eastern region,parent-child interaction and peer behavior have the same effect on rural migrant and urban adolescents’ deviant behavior;while in the central and western regions,parent-child interaction and peer positive behavior have a more significant impact on urban adolescents’ deviant behavior, and peer negative behavior has a greater impact on rural adolescents’ deviant behaviors. In summary, the findings of this study provide the following enlightenment for interfering with the deviant behaviors of rural migrant adolescents:The creation of a healthy environment for rural migrant adolescents requires the cooperation and support of families and schools. This requires the government to work hard to reduce regional development differences and actively improve and upgrade the quality of education in schools, and achieve equalization in the distribution of educational resources. |
