Aggressive behavior is a typical misbehavior,and it become violence when it develops to a certain extent.This research focuses on the aggressive behavior of adolescents.It compares deaf students,a special group,with hearing students to explores the relationship between parental psychological control,self-control,and aggressive behavior.482 adolescents completed questionnaires including Wang &Pomerantz's Parental Psychological Control Scale,Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire and the Dual-Mode of Self-Control Scale.The results of the study are as follows:1.The main effect of gender,and school stage in parental psychological control and aggressive behavior of the two types of adolescents is significant,and the main effect of school stage in self-control is also significant.The details are as follows: 1)parental psychological control and self-aggression of deaf children are higher than hearing adolescents;2)male parental psychologically control and physical aggression are higher than that of girls;3)the scores of junior high school adolescents' total parental psychological control and guilt-inducing dimension,caring-retracted dimension,total aggressive behavior,anger,and self-aggression are all higher than those of high school adolescents.Junior high school adolescents have lower scores of total self-control and control system.2.The parental psychological control,self-control and aggressive behavior of the two types of adolescent are all related to each other.Parental psychological control of both types of adolescents positively predicts aggressive behavior,impulse system of self-control positively predicts aggressive behavior,and parental psychological control positively predicts the impulse system of self-control.However,the parental psychological control of deaf students can positively predict the control system of self-control,while hearing adolescents are not satisfied with this relationship.3.The impulsive system of self-control plays a partly mediating role between the parental psychological control and aggressive behavior of the two types of adolescents,while the control system only plays a partly mediating role between the parental psychological control and aggressive behavior of deaf students.The conclusions are as follows:1.Parental psychological control has an important influence on the self-control and aggressive behavior of deaf and hearing adolescents.For adolescents of different types,genders,and school levels,it should keep parental psychological control at an appropriate level.2.Self-control plays a partially mediating role between the parental psychological control and aggressive behavior of deaf and ordinary adolescents,but the mechanism of this mediating effect is different in the deaf group.
