The popularization and development of network information technology in China has brought about profound changes in the government response,that is,the new media platforms represented by Weibo and WeChat have become an important area for government departments to provide public services and carry out information disclosure and public opinion response.Today,the Chinese government attaches great importance to the work public opinion response.When holding the twelfth collective study on the all-media era and the development of media integration,President Xi Jinping pointed out that government departments at all levels must scientifically understand the law of network communication,improve the level of network governance,and must clearly adhere to the correct political direction,public opinion orientation,and value orientation.Judging from the performance of new government media in recent years,many outstanding departments and cases have emerged in the handling and guidance of online public opinion.However,the performance of the tax authorities is mediocre,which reflects that the tax authorities,especially the grass-roots tax authorities,have certain deficiencies in the management and use of new media.Then,in the situation of weak media resources and public attention,how to effectively respond to public opinion on the Internet has become a new topic.In this paper,the four components of the government 's public opinion response mechanism and the development status of the tax-related public opinion response mechanism are sorted out;the background and characteristics of tax-related public opinion have been analyzed;based on the tax-related public opinion cases and questionnaires that occurred on Weibo and WeChat,the shortcomings of the tax-related public opinion response mechanism in the subject,channels,and content have been analyzed;how tax authorities should use government media to build new dialogue channels and response mechanisms on Weibo and WeChat is explored;and three targeted suggestions are made as follows:The first is to strengthen the response function of tax-related government media on Weibo and WeChat,to open up the existing public opinion response mechanism and media management structure on Weibo and WeChat,and to equip a professional new media public opinion response team;the second is to strengthen the Internet public opinion area,to consolidate the new media matrix with government media Weibo and WeChat as the main focus under the premise that the new media of the party's administration of government will not waver,and to mobilize cadres in the system to conduct propaganda and guidance;the third is to improve the quality of public opinion responses,not to speak rhetorically,to adjust the focus of responses according to the nature of public opinions,and to reduce the possibility of policy-related tax-related public opinions from the source through information disclosure and consultation.
