Online Master's in Education is a new type of Master of Education training model that has emerged in the information age.It is conducive to solving the practical problems encountered in the process of Master of Education training such as backward training methods,insufficient resources,and contradictions between engineering and learning,and improving the quality of education master education.In my country,the online master's in education is still a new thing,and many issues need to be explored urgently.Therefore,there is an urgent need to understand and learn from the mature experience of developing online master's in education in other countries.After years of development,the online master's in education from the University of Florida has achieved very good results.It represents the highest level of the online master's in education in the United States.Its successful experience can provide a reference for the development of online master's in education in my country.This article first uses historical research methods to sort out the background and development process of the online master's in education,and learns that advanced modern information technology,state of Florida government policy support,urgent needs of the society,and the University of Florida has a high level of master of education are the main background for the emergence of the online master's in education;secondly,the literature research method is used to summarize the education process characteristics of the online master's in education: training goals highlight professionalism;comprehensive evaluation of admissions selection;curriculum design reflects flexibility;fully online teaching process;practical links are diverse;The tutor's guidance starts from the application process;the school system is shorter and so on.Thirdly,from the internal and external aspects of how to ensure the quality of education for online master's in education,we learned that the internal education quality assurance is mainly achieved by the mechanisms of student selection and training,teacher recruitment and training,curriculum development and maintenance,and external education quality assurance.The certification principles and evaluation standards of school certification associations,professional certification associations and social assessment agencies are carried out.Through research on the background,development process,education process,quality assurance and other aspects of online master's in education at the University of Florida,this paper proposed that the University of Florida online master's in education has the following characteristics: expanded the training target of the master of education;the connection with the teacher profession is closer;teachers and students In-depth participation and interaction;the quality assurance system is relatively complete.Combining with the difficulties faced by my country's masters of education,we believe that we should give full play to the advantages of online education and actively develop online master's in education;use projects as the carrier to develop online master's in education programs that grant different types of certificates;the professional direction setting is guided by market demand and focuses on meet the needs of primary and secondary school teachers' professional development;set up a variety of online courses,divided into course modules according to special training.
