Information technology with multimedia and network as its core has exerted huge impact on today's society,bringing profound changes to learning methods and teaching forms.Information literacy is undoubtedly a necessary quality for every modern teacher.The master of education in subject teaching methodology have dual identity of a student and prospective middle school teacher.The cultivation of them in colleges and universities is an important topic in researching on their information literacy and how to improve their ability of information teaching.First of all,this paper sorts out the related concepts of information literacy,systematically analyzes its connotation and specific indicator in four dimensions,and puts forward the author's insights on the connotation of information literacy for the master of education in subject teaching methodology,which expands such literacy to a certain extent.Secondly,this paper surveys the overall level of information literacy and the current status of four dimensions in information awareness,information knowledge,information ability,and information ethics of the master of education in subject teaching methodology of H normal university through the questionnaire.It further sets gender,major,whether types of majors in undergraduate are normal or informative,whether there is front-line teaching experience,computer level,and information literacy course as background variables,analyzing differences of four aspects in information literacy.Thirdly,according to the results of questionnaire survey and interview analysis,it found that there were existed questions in the information literacy of the master of education in subject teaching methodology.That are the weak awareness of information utilization of the master in the subject,the relatively lagging mastery of information knowledge,the poor ability to integrate information,the improper application of information technology in class teaching,and the low spirits in independent learning.Finally,this paper analyzes the problems and the causes behind them,and then proposes corresponding measures,namely: incorporating information literacy into the talent training plan as an important content of training evaluation;improving the level of teachers' information literacy and the quality of its training;creating a good information environment and providing an informationalized learning platform for both teachers and students;establishing the concept of lifelong learning and cultivating the ability of independent learning.
